I remember the cellar on the back of the rock, the spectacular kitchen, the first color TV, the endless card games, and the trips organized between Umbria and Tuscany... the first love, the altanets and the stone staircase, which then I crossed the street and saw the view of the valley... and then the evenings and the people who are no longer there, yes to the hotel Irma... an act of my love.

The Place of My Childhood

I have an old-fashioned hotel with no pretenses, a great price with breakfast included. We slept two nights to go to the sensory spas and theia. I bathe a little tired but nice view from the room. One day they forgot to lock our room after cleaning, thankfully nothing happened.

Good value for money

I arrive at 10am with a search with a parking lantern that doesn't exist, but this is a common problem around here. Booked for a triple and paid in advance and on arrival you have to ask questions because the triple is not there and they give me two doubles having to split up with my wife so I don't let the little girl sleep alone. Sanitaries with brown water know it goes down for a few minutes and hot water doesn't close up from the bidet anymore. Shower without hot water. Bridal bed broken. Lamp with uncovered and unsecured lock. In the morning a disaster breakfast with two staff for 100 people. Lunch served at 1 p.m. when the time was 12 p.m.

Trapped in the 1950s

I stayed in this hotel on the occasion of a weekend in the spas of Chianciano. The structure is typical of the fifties; next to the reception there are still two telephone booths, fully renovated and functioning. The marble reigns throughout the structure and the staircase connecting the various floors has remained unchanged over the years. The rooms are essential, there are no particular comfort like the air conditioning, but absolutely clean. Roberto, the owner's son was very hospitable and courteous local: he indicated us various areas of the area, also delivering us good to be used for spas and for lunch.

Vintage by choice

It felt a bit as playing in a movie. In a decor of 50/60 years ago. Very well maintained. Excellent value for money. Nice reception included hotel cat. Clean spacious room with bath and a lot of hot water. 
We had dinner there which was relaxed and oldfashioned cared for. Not a hotel with typical tuscan ambience. But well positioned for exploring or for stop over while travelling. 

Special stay in decor

Stayed for one night, rest point in between as traveling from Milan to Rome... Not much to review, its very affordable stay, free wifi & free parking also breakfast included... Overall, its still a nice stay...

Affordable Stay

We've got our own parking lot.A price of 35 euros a day for two.Breakfast, croissant and coffee.In the bathroom there's even a bathroom!The balcony opens a beautiful view of the valley.We recommend!!!!!

That's great!

The hotel is a bit'older but has all the necessary services. The hotel is clean and decent breakfast. Very quiet at night. The price is great. This area of Italy is truly wonderful offers plenty to do and see. Also you can eat very well in this area.

Basic and cheap

We booked this hotel on the fly in the very last minute on the phone. The staff was very kind and helpful right from the first minute - already over the phone.
Upon arrival we saw a beautiful, classic, elegant building from the outside, but were surprised by the old, worn furniture out on the terrace in front.. then we were just as stunned by the interiors of the place: it seems has time stopped in Albergo Irma long ago, probably in the '50s. Glass chandeliers, gold looking handles, and very stylish furniture - of those times.
However, we quickly realized after taking a walk in the city: it isn't only the hotel, the whole town made us feel like we stepped into a time machine somewhere on the road to Chianciano Terme.
Regardless, the hotel is superclean, the staff was throughout extremely kind and helpful with us, open to assist us with anything we had requested.
Please do stay here, if you ever happen to pass by this town, you won't regret it. The baths anyways are worth a day!
