A fascinating little B&B stuffed with antiques and run by lovely people. This lovely experience started when we phoned to check up on facilities for the disabled and make the reservation. The proprietor could not have been more helpful explaining the wheelchair access arrangements. He then organised our pass for the pedestrian zone, which we had to get at the last moment because we were hiring a large vehicle to carry all the family. He met us by appointment and showed us the rooms and helped us choose the best parking place for our large vehicle. The rooms were, as others have noted, crammed full of antiques, but accessed with a sophisticated electronic key. We were the only guests for our 2-day stay, so we had the undivided attention of the young lady who prepared the breakfast for us, plus the proprietor and his little dog. We could not find fault with anything. The questions that booking.com asked us on this page are the wrong ones. It is a luxury B&B, but not a luxury hotel. It is not quaint in the sense of "olde worlde" but the decor of the rooms takes you back to another age. It was not cheap but good value for money. I don't know if it is a boutique hotel, because I'm not sure what that means. It is probably not ideal for young children because antiques rarely are, yet the welcome to young children would I am sure have been very friendly. And is this a classic hotel? It probably isn't, but its a classy B&B.
