We spent 3 nights in a recently renovated suite in a building just a short walk from the main property. Suite included a beautiful modern bathroom, a sitting area with sofa, table and fridge and a bedroom complete with jacuzzi. The stone room in the bedroom dates back to the 1400's! We had a private entrance. There is ample parking and we were greeted with a tray of savory pastries typical of the region as well as a bottle of prosecco and juices chilling in the fridge. The host took our breakfast orders - choice of sweet and/or savory with lots of options. Breakfast is in the main building but it's a short walk and a lovely neighborhood. Our host Nicola is very well versed on the town of Chieti as well as surrounding towns and helped us with a great itinerary that brought us to several other small towns and villages as well as the beaches. We arrived late in the day and Nicola secured us a table and a wonderful local restaurant - la tavernetta. Great town, great lodging - would love to come back soon!!!
