Nice place few minutes from Bantry. Private parking. Rooms comfortable, very clean and spatious. Theresa is a perfect, lovely owner, she’ll be preparing you a typical Irish breakfast if you wish. We stayed two night, our girls enjoyed the stay, we highly recommend this b&b.

Four of us booked into this B and B for two nights, It was refreshingly clean, spacious, warm, cozy, tastefully decorated, and bright. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Everything was laid on for us in the rooms etc. Tea, coffee. biscuits,  milk and kettle, and fresh bottles of water and in the big room a fridge. Shampoo and conditioner (good quality) were in the bathroom accompanied by spotlessly clean towels and a facecloth.  Our host Theresa could not have been more helpful, welcoming, and attentive to us, We had breakfast served up at 7 am and 9.30 am. (times we requested). There were excellent choices on the menu including a full Irish breakfast with added surprises such as a breakfast starter fruit bowl with lots of their own garden berries and mint leaves and homemade marmalade. There was free Wi-Fi in the rooms. They were very covid conscious and that made us feel safe e.g. The host always wore a mask all lodgers wore masks, shampoos, and conditioner bottles were all sanitized tables in dining room spaciously laid out and it was scrupulously clean, I would highly recommend this B and B if you are traveling in the Cork area.

Theresa was a fabulous host who made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was excellent. Full of fresh organic produce that Theresa had grown in her own garden. Everything was home made.

Very comfortable room/bed, plenty of space and spotless, and the (vegetarian) breakfast was super. Teresa was a perfect host, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Extremely good value too, highly recommended.

Excellent B&B, very comfortable beds, large rooms with plenty of storage, spotlessly clean and warm and welcoming hosts, and nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfasts were superb, in fact you would go a long way to beat the full Irish or scrambled eggs and delicious smoked salmon. Would recommend..

We stayed here for one night on our tour of southern Ireland, it was a delightful bed and breakfast with a lovely host. We were greeted and were given homemade cookies in our room, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The house and area were lovely. We found somewhere local to eat on the advice of the host. The breakfast was delicious, I would recommend the pancakes. Our only regret was we only booked one night, next time we will stay longer.

This was an unscheduled stop for me on my Wild Atlantic Way drive.  I had come from Cork via Mizen Head and Sheep's Head and decided to stay overnight in Bantry and found Donemark Rise somewhat by accident while looking around for a place to stay.  It was a great find for the following reasons: (1) Teresa was a very pleasant and friendly host. (2) The b&b is located in a very quiet, beautiful rustic setting (You might see a few photogenic goats munching the grass around the house - see photo enclosed).  It's about 3 km to town so you'll need a car.  But there's plenty of private off-street parking. (3) The house is 5 star quality.  The bedrooms are luxurious, very clean and comfortable with ample space for your luggage and other stuff.  Beds are super comfortable and pillows, sheets, spreads, etc. are high quality.  (4) The bathroom has both a bath and a shower and a variety of amenities, all exuding quality. (5) The breakfast room has a nice ambience and breakfast was delightfully delicious. (6) Wifi was very good and fast everywhere. (7) The price is very reasonable, even for a "walk in". 

This was by far the best of the of the 7 b&b's I stayed in the Republic during my 2 1/2 weeks driving tour of Ireland.  If you've a car, I highly recommend experiencing the unrivalled charm, quality and hospitality of Donemark Rise.

Another first class BnB found on our travels. Warm welcome, clean room, comfy bed and a breakfast that a five start restaurant wouldn't produce! Thank you for hosting us at your propertynd we only wished we could have stayed longer. Cathy

We stayed here from 6-9 may. We had a very good stay! Stepahany went out of her way with her personal attention. The room was beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was the best there is. They make everything themselves, the jams, marmelades and so. This together with fresh bread and fresh scrambled eggs and salmon makes you eat so much that you won’t bother to skip lunch. All in all a very nice place to stay. Thank you very much!
