We stayed as a couple in a room with a twin and single bed. Labelled as being en suite, the wash handbasin could only be used if the door to the bedroom was open.
Pros: Warm room and comfortable beds. Cons: This place has seen better days and is in sore need of investment.  Although a cooked breakfast was meant to be included we were told they didnt do it, despite a room charge of 60 per night, over the top for the experience. Wont be going back.


Overpriced

Stayed here for a night recently on my way to visiting the cliffs of Moher. Got a twin room for me and my brother for just €18 each. We booked with booking.com, I think it’s cheaper again if you just contact the hostel. We got a nice clean room with ensuite bathroom. The heating was all on night so the room was warm and comfortable, and I got a great nights sleep. Staff were friendly and the kitchen looked clean and well equipped but I didn’t use it, except to make coffee! The town is quiet enough but it’s a charming little place with very friendly locals and plenty of bars! If you have transport, your not far from the cliffs and several other nearby famous landmarks. All in all, a good stay and somewhere I’d recommend.

Great value

Myself and 3 friends booked in here for the Lisdoonvarna match making festival. It was a fantastic price and the staff are so helpful and inviting! They organized taxis for us both nights for Lisdoonvarna! I really could recommend them enough.

Excellent value for money 

Unfortunately, we have to forgive one point! This hotel is the worst place I've ever been! Booked was a room with a French double bed and a single bed, we got a tiny cell with a bunk bed! The room smelled of cold smoke. We spent 2 nights in this terrible house because there was no other room free in the whole region. It was hell! From 10:00 until well after 1:00 a.m. DJ music in a loud volume that the window vibrated! To add to that the roar of the guests. Even after 3:00 a.m. still no rest as the guests continued to roar and the walls are as thin as paper. See, no one gets a key to the entrance hall and if you want to go back to the hostel early in the morning, it's the only way to get back to the hostel if you don't want to go back to the hostel cliffs!

Last class

We had a shared room but we played solo!! Bathroom inside the room- The entrance to the hostel is next to a bar called The Central. It is paid in cash. The kitchen is well installed, spacious. Ubicaco in the central street of this tiny town. Super a block. Near the Moher Cliffs.

We arrived late and left early because we were going towards the cliffs of moher. the place is a little strange, it's next to a bar, but it was finally a good cost benefit, because the bedroom and bathroom were good.

Food is lovely and good value, room was clean and the place itself is a stones throw from all the local tourist attractions a great location. Nothing was too much work for the staff and proprietors. We will be back

A Great place

I dropped in here last year during the Willie Clancy festival and the place was buzzing. Lots of very talented musicians. The ladies behind the bar were very efficient and attentive. The Guinness was like silk. Delicious. I was made to feel like a local. I was passing through Miltown last week and I had to stop off. Although it was quieter it was cosy. The staff were lovely and chatty. I will be back during the summer for a session ceoil agus craic.

A home from home

When you get to the hostel, it smells like a mixture of cold smoke and food, which isn't too bad. You got a room in the B&B for two people and one night. The room was very small and already full by the double bed, the bathroom was without heating and generally everything was a little old and down... The kitchen didn't look inviting and didn't look very clean. The room also needed to be cleaned a little better. However, the staff were good - very friendly and hospitable and you get everything shown :) For one night the room was okay - but not for more.

Enough for one night

I've never seen such a disgusting hotel in my whole life. Everything is smelly, filthy and dirty. I didn't dare to shower because I was afraid of getting sick. The kitchen is in a bad condition and would have to be cleaned urgently. I think this hotel has never been renovated. Everywhere is carpeted, which is also so dirty that it would have to leave urgently. The customer in the pub contributes to the overall picture. Everyone is drunk, clumsy shapes that you prefer to get out of the way. You don't get a key to the main door and knock on this one when you come in. Whoever wants to save a lot of trouble, you better get a bigger one around this Saula!
