From the moment we walked through the front door we were welcomed and treated like old friends.  What amazing hosts.  The room is delightful and meets all of your needs and breakfast is outstanding.  Recommendations for a meal in town was spot on too.  The best Thai curry outside of Thailand.  We could have easily stayed here a day or too more and would not hesitate to visit again if we had the opportunity.

Very comfortable and well-appointed rooms, great breakfast, and an extremely warm welcome from the hosts. They really could not do enough for us, and we would  love to go back. I felt that we were being treated like family members, the owners were friendly without being intrusive, a great advert for the Irish. The stay was also good value for money.

Just returned from a one night stay at Kilroan House and I have to say that we were really impressed. Lovely en-suite bedroom, snowy white sheets and towels, electric blanket, TV (with all the channels), WiFi, tea/coffee facilities, chocolate biscuits and bottles of mineral water and it's only about a 5 minute drive to the town and Kildare Shopping Outlet. On top of all that, it's great value! Bob and Anne are perfect hosts with great local advice re where to eat etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked and yummy.

There's two guest rooms in this wonderful house just outside of Kildare.
Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was superb and hosts very friendly.
Only a 5 minute drive into Kildare where there are a few large pubs for meals.
We stayed here on our way to Dublin Airport, and being only an easy 50 minutes on the Motorway, was a good diversion from staying inside Dublin itself.

Brilliant place to stay.

Lovely B&B

Great value for short stays.

We booked over 7 months ago but they clearly forgot us until the last minute and although while we were on holiday they wrote to ask when we would be arriving as they had an anniversary mass and fuction to go to. Only it turned out it was a noisy party all over the house so we finally got to sleep at 3am. Not restful as promised. He did not charge us we reluctanltly offered to pay and then our booking was reported that we were a no show. We have travelled the world this was our 2nd worse experience in 44 years. The room had intermittenet bed side light, unsightly repairs to the shower and missing sealant and grout in the shower. We have been in b&b, holiday home rentals and hotels for 3 weeks and everywhere else was great but not here. No access to the garden we were in the way and made to feel it. 6pm asked did we want to go elsewhere? Like where when we booked last November.
