I booked this hotel for a night as my preferred hotel in Jakarta was not avilable until the second night of my stay in Jakarta.  The price of the hotel was reasonable given its location in the city and the pictures on the website showed a nice property.

Upon arrival, I found the exterior of the hotel to look very different to the pictures on the website and the interior of the hotel was also very different to what was advertised.

The staff were very pleasant and nice. The room I was given had an unpleasant smell which can also be said for the whole first floor of the hotel.  The bathroom was one of those you don't want to actually use as you know its not very clean or hygienic.

Breakfast was cold. As I was only staying for one night and due to move somewhere nicer, I didn't complain. If you are really strapped for cash and need somewhere fairly central, this should be low on your list of hotels as the lack of hygiene makes it a bad choice even as somehwere just to sleep!

Not very hygienic at all

My friend booked this hotel for 1 reason, its the cheapest and nearby to Thamrin.. 
1st day.. we arrived there by cab.. the road was jammed to the brimm.. well its kind of normal in Jakarta around 6pm-8 or 9pm.. arrived, went to our room on the 2nd floor, 2 small bedroom ..which was not what we paid for ( 2 bedroom with 1 extra bed).. reason being says the reception, the rooms are fully booked and they dont have extra bed... ( we paid via online before and it was available during our booking through agoda).. then we went for our free dinner (ours comes with free breakfast & dinner)... food was excellent.. next day, the lift gave up. we dont mind though walking 1 floor.. then we requested for a room with a window and room that we booked earlier.. so they gave us a 5th floor room which was quite spacious.. looks good.. the lift was repaired in time for us to take our belongings up to our room.. we noticed that they forgot to give us soap.. so still ok.. but then we noticed that they didnt change the sheets, pillow case, blankets, the towels.. for the past 4-5 days staying there.. the lift broke again up until our last day.. whats worse, we send for laundry, the charges are quite steep (laundry outside are charge by kg..anyway its standard hotel charges).. and the staff cheekily add another additional Rp50,000 to our invoice.. as I shared the bill, I was calculating the entire laundry clothes so that my friend can pay for his share.. the staff asked back the invoice.. and afterwards when I approach the reception staff, the staff who handles the laundry said that the invoice is not with him, then he said its gone.. so we know he's in trouble.. but we still gave him a chance, to return some of the money that he ripped us off.. anyway.. I wouldnt recommend this hotel, it sounds good for a muslim.. a syariah hotel but I guess that was long way back when they started the hotel, the new owner who bought the hotel with the new management might have screwed up somewhere, unclean restaurant washing hands sink area, room toilet.. its nearby to a train station.. some street stalls.., a 24 conveniece store "lawson".. a walking distance masjid to perform jumaat prayer...sorry for my bad english...

not so syariah

I have stayed 1 night in the hotel, and it was terrible things in the hotel. From the dirty bed, only 1 towel for me (I was with my family it should be 2) also the towel looks dirty, the properties also dirty and seems like not a room of *2 hotel. Disappointed at all, never book at this hotel anymore.
