Sayan Romantis Ubud

Located at a 10 minute scooter drive from Ubud center you will find this place of tranquillity. Booked because of the spacious rooms and greenery we stayed here for almost a week. During this week we were pampered by the friendly Made who organized breakfast and kept the rooms clean. She also arranged on request scooter rental (60.000 rph per day) and laundry (€ 5 for 1.5 week of clothes). As other reviewers indicate there are indeed salamanders on the roof that poop, although they will not be present if you turn on the air conditioning or are in the room. We didn't mind as it is Indonesia and not some five star hotel. We only missed some basic amenities like a water kettle and glasses. The fridge however was a big plus! Bathroom is outside which is nice (showering under the stars and moon!). Bed is ok, room is spacious. Small own 'terrace' where you can sit and enjoy breakfast. Intimate room, good location if you like rural and being away from busy Ubud.
