A small resort nestled into the serene hills of Sebatu has everything you need to relax and slow down. My room was spotlessly clean, quite spacious and well appointed, however a bit more storage space would come in handy for a couple. The vista from the balcony was serene. All the staff, from reception and the restaurant through to the room attendants were so polite and attentive without being overbearing by any measure. Lovely people. The restaurant offers a serene vista and constistenly delivered lovely meals that were beautifully presented. Whilst the servings are of a modest size, they are quite ample due to the multiple dishes that come with all meals. I had nearly all my meals there and no "Bali Belly". The resort offers a free guided morning walk through Sebatu. Well worth doing. A short walk takes you to Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. For a longer walk, approx 20 - 30 mins - the Holy Water Spring (Melukat Sebatu) or Ulu Petan Waterfall. Both are worth visiting and you will experience the day to day life of Sebatu along the way. Definately worth consdieration if you want to just chill and relax.
