Fantastic
27 reviewsWe took a chance on this home stay as we, family of four with two small children, generally stay in more mainstream hotels. We thought though, for less than $10 usd a night, what did we have to lose. The reviews said the staff was helpful, which sold it for us actually, but in reality, the husband, wife, and sister-in-law team go way above helpful. Examples: We arrive on the train from Jakarta at around 1:00 am without advance notice to the home stay; no problem. Not only did they welcome us at that ungodly hour, but then proceeded to book us a driver for the temples for the next morning, but also immediately started cooking our take away breakfast (awesome fried rice) as we would be leaving in a scant 2 hours. The next day they once again provided assistance with a trip to Jablang Cave, ran me to an ATM that accommodated my card, and also ran out for another guest to get him some medicine. Finally, after informing them we would be leaving the next day, they go ahead and provide me an extra bed for our room as 4 people on one bed is just a bit much. Amazing friendly folks who were also wonderful with our small children. Highly recommended.
