9 reviewsI stayed here for 4 days at the Flores cabin. This is not your typical hotel. There are no air conditioning in the rooms, which is not needed anyways due to the cool temperature in this area. The bathrooms does come with a water heater and works okay most of the time. The rooms are very simple with two beds, a bedside table and a mirror. DOTC's mission is to use their profits to help communities suffering from natural disasters. They minimize cost for the sake of making a higher profit to help those in need. The have a small museum of things they brought back from disaster sites. A styrofoam container that carried a baby in the tsunami, a deformed tin can from volcanic lava and even some swords and shields from the Dayat people in Kalimantan. By the way, the food was excellent and so was the customer service!
