Bali Wood Property At Emerald Tower Nusa Dua

We (2 adults, 3 kids - 11, 9 & 6) recently spent 10 nights at Novotel Nusa Dua and really enjoyed it! We stayed in a 2 bedroom room and were surprised by it's size. The living area was very spacious as was the master bedroom and balcony. The second bedroom had two single beds however as we were traveling with 3 children the Novotel managed to squeeze in an extra single bed with no charge (they did try to charge us 350k per night but we refused). All beds were comfy as were the pillows. Aircon was so good it was sometimes too cold. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was excellent. The kids swam all day with pool toys we brought at the local shops outside the resort. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. We ordered from the bar menu most lunches and every meal was delicious. Dinners were at a local restaurant or room service. Beach was easy to get to on the beach bus and was lovely once you got there - good beach chairs and the water crystal clear, in the mornings particularly - great for snorkelling, however the current was quite strong. Only disappointment was the Balinese dinner buffet on Wednesdays nights - the entertainment was great but the food was very mediocre - I wouldn't bother with it, or I would eat in the restaurant, ordering from the regular menu. There were some good local shops and restaurants a 5 minute walk from the resort. With the new toll road it is very easy to get to and from Seminyak - we generally paid 150k each way when booking with a local driver. The resort will charge upwards of 250k. The trip generally took about 30mins. All in all a great holiday and we would definitely book again at Novotel Nusa Dua.
