Chinnar wild life sanctuary is really a nice place to plan a tourist. And with my friends i stayed at this resort. Very very nice ambience. Superb atmosphere. Rooms and outdoors were well cleaned. Very nice experience having four days in this chinnar wild resort. Never miss a chance if you get to visit here.

i stayed in this amazing property during Christmas vacations. From Coimbatore to Udhumalpet and from there about 10 kms.....out perched in the serene mountainous location ...this beautiful Chinnar resort. Personal touch in decking up the rooms. Stay very quiet and pleasant. Chef BINOJ...good food and great taste...He could sing very well. The staff was very warm and cordial. Excellent and memorable experience for the full family. Not crowded...privacy plenty....with the nature...birds and trees. Another 20 minutes drive to another exotic location Camp Splendour...a adventure boot camp. Thanks and best wishes. Team Chinnar

We just happened to drive by, noticing the coffee&tea shop at the side of the road. Amazing view of the Chinnar wilderness mountains and valley. Below the coffeehouse, we noticed a multistory building. Turns out it is a new hotel.
Since we had a few days to spare, and it was such a lovely location we decided to stay for two nights. One of the best stays so far on our India trip!
The rooms are very large, clean, and nicely furnished. We took a room with balcony - great view overlooking the river and meadows.
Next day we first did a little walk along the river with Anish, one of the staff, as our guide. In the afternoon we drove 2km north to the Forest Service post to take a guided walk to the waterfalls. unfortunately, there were too many wild animals at the falls, so we couldn't go there. Instead, the guide led us on a round trip through the forest and hillside to Stone Age burial sites and cave-paintings! Along the way he pointed out many plants, insects, and animal tracks. We stopped on a ledge high above the road in the valley. From there we could see the windmills in udumalpet! Looked as if we were looking at a futuristic startreck city!
We so enjoyed our stay there! Would have loved to relax a few more days, but the next hotel was already booked, so we had to move on...
The host family, as well as all the staff there were very friendly and helpful. The meals were tasty. The whole atmosphere relaxing, rejuvenating, and carefree!
