Kohka Wilderness Camp

We stayed at Kohka wilderness camp for 2 nights and 3 days during our trip to Pench Tiger Reserve in December 2025. 
It is nice boutique accommodation with rustic feel and green environs. It is obvious that the owner is a wildlife lover as the ambience is in sync with the main purpose of tourists - wildlife. 
The place is run with passion and all the staff provide extremely good service. The hallmark of good service is being attentive and providing service without being told or reminded.  We found this uniformly at Kohka wilderness camp. 
The food is tasty and homely.  The menu for the buffet is constantly changed and we had a great time throughout. On New year's Eve, a special dinner was organized along with a bonfire, which was a surprise for us. Overall, we would strongly recommend this hotel for any visit to Pench. It is close to many of the gates, especially Touria gate which is 10 mins away. 

Must say Amazing place to stay in Pench. Food, service and all other arrangment were top notch.
Food was so delicious and from the home grown setup that we would just wait for lunch, dinner time. Not too oily, spicy. It was mindblowing tasty. 
All the staff are super friendly and accomodate your request without any hesitation and smile.
Rooms are spacious, cleanliness is maintained on daily basis.
Sitout area is also spacious and clean.
Wakeup call in morning and the packed breakfast for morning safari was amazing, they really know what they are doing.
Kids friendly area, TV, books, playing area is avilable.
And all this credit goes to Mr. Sourabh who is the owner of the property and stays at the property himself to manage all the hospitality the resort offers. He is very friendly and genuine person.
Overall we had best Jungle safari experience along with stay in Kohka. Right from the word go, the holiday experience with Kohka was nothing short of excellent. We had the entire team make us feel at home, and their attention to detail was outstanding.
Highly recommended place is Pench to stay.

A Day Spent at Kohka Resort in Pench

Our arrival at the Kohka resort around 5 pm kindled hope of splendrous surrounding and the hospitable lineage of the resort staff. Over the sipping of beverages we marked the Dusk engulfing everything & the Darkness swallowing all mighty objects which, earlier, pricked our conscience. Spot lights glowing along the side of foot-path connecting multitudinous cottages imparted the feel of treading the Starry Heavens. The Heaven Kissing Bamboos and the cool breezes passing through them were drifting our minds far away from the din of city life. The courteous hands of the resort attendants carrying our bags & baggage to the cottage destination redefined Courtesy to us.
         There was felicity in listening to the views & vision of Shri. Saurabh Ghosh, owner of the resort. His views & vision honed on life & commercial experienes and cherished from the places of the Europe & Africa were really mesmerizing. We found his memory nurtured on the experiences at the Savana & Steppe forests were enlightening. His courteous & hospitable attitude imprinted on our mind a thought that every human loves to share his Experience & to listen to other's Thought that opens up a new vista of life.
        The Almighty God, in His wilderness frenzy, bestowed the forest of Pench with diversity of plants & life species where the laws of struggle for existence & survival of the fittest is ever in enactment. The forest, the services of the Kohka personnel, that of the forest safari driver & of the guide are at par excellence. It is really difficult to scoup water from a Water Fall. The serene quietitude of the ambiance and the host's expertise in working out the surrounding to the delightful experience of visitors definitely add gaiety to each one's stay in the resort. 
       The cuisine of the resort abounds in a variety of dishes; all are tasty and their taste lingers long on our tongue.

Cannot praise this property enough
We were a group of moms with babies , and could let our children roam freely in the property without being scared .. the food was in time and delicious , the staff was humble and polite , rooms clean

We (Yirah Creations team) reached Kohka Camp in the afternoon after an overnight stay at Nagpur. The ride was pleasant and short. We were welcomed by Mr. Shourabh Ghosh the owner of this beautiful place which we were to call home for the next 4 days. We had four safar - three day and one night safari - at Pench. We were escorted to the rooms by a very courteous staff who took good care of us throughout our stay . The Rooms were very comfortable, the ambience too good with Bamboo trees around, a garden and play area for children, a swimming pool and lots and lots of trees.  We were treated to some scrumptious and yummy meals throughout our stay. The place is very close to Turia gate and also to the Kohka Lake for an evening outing. An excellent place to come back after a tiring safari. A great place to wind off for a person who belongs to the metropolis city.

Great Hospitality, Excellent homely food with lots of variety every day, Clean rooms and polite staff. Mr.Saurbh Ghosh is a excellent person and as a owner verifies quality of your stay. We 2 families stayed at the resort for 2 days and really enjoyed the stay. Rustic feel given to the resort is adorable and also lot of care taken for environment. 

It was a pleasure to visit the property. The space is kept well maintained with a sincere effort on keeping a balance on the natural Eco system. This speaks volumes on the passion of maintaining & respecting surroundings. The team under Mr Saurabh is very warm & always available to resolve & serve requests with a smile. So kudos to him to train the team to work with such humility. The food was delicious though not very fancy, which was not even expected in middle of jungle. The team only added a cherry with their service on the cake of able to sight many & multiple species including tigers, leopards, jackals, various birds etc.

I stayed at Kohka Wellness for 3 nights last week while doing safaris at Pench. Right from the time we arrived at the resort till the time we exited, it was one of the best experiences I have had so far. The place is rustic, clean, the rooms are spacious to accommodate 3 people, the staff and the owners are very polite and helpful. The owners Sourabh and Sanjay ensure that you are having a great experience, they became more like friends and we had soo many conversations and experience sharing with them during our stay. The food is sooo soo good (enough spread) that during every meal we had the feeling of 'pet bhar gaya but man nahi bhara'. Would definitely recommend everyone to go ahead and enjoy the experience of staying at Kohka. Will definitely love to visit again.

The ambience is beautiful, clean, toilets are clean. Everything is eco-friendly from room furniture to food . Taste of food is unbelievably delicious and homely. The owners are gem of a person, they are welcoming, inclusive make the guest feel like their part of Kohka fly. A beautiful, clean , friendly and lovely place to stay. Would recommend anyone from solo traveller, groups , families to visit it.

I spent three nights at Kohka Wilderness Camp with my family. It's a lovely place. The rooms ar quaint and very well maintained. The food is sumptuous and tasty. And the staff are very polite and helpful. The proprietor Shourabh provided helpful suggestions to keep us all entertained. Overall a delightful trip!

Homely , comfortable , quiet

Great place to explore Pench Tiger reserve. Is located on the MP side of the park and is equidistant from both the key gates of Turiya and Khursapar. Apart from the location, owner Saurabh and the staff are very friendly and make every attempt to meet your requirements. The room has all the necessities and the most importantly has good facilities for a night’s rest. The other good thing is their food who is quite decent and almost homely. They do a god job of packing breakfast for the morning safari visits too.

A Stay to Remember

The property has a good feel about it not a v high end or luxury property but good enough for jungle enthusiasts.. they cater only to families and jungle enthusiasts.. they need to buckle up on breakfast for jungle safaris v less quantity.. rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms..  food is good too.. a decent property overall.. 10 mins drive from turia gate..
