OYO 3020 Sheelisach Inn

We were stayed this resort for one night in the first week of December 2018. The stay and all services are good. The resort is located in Sulthan Bathery town but there is no disturbance of town area. Our rooms were neat and clean . All staffs behaved well.. Good food...

Its a pretty decent hotel if you are looking for a budget stay. The exteriors of the hotel   are spread over a large area and are beautifully done giving a farmhouse feel for a peaceful retreat. The garden and kids play area is well maintained.

The rooms are decent, little small and need better ventilation. Our room window opened right in the corridor which hampered privacy.

Breakfast buffet was a nice spread. The swimming pool was maintained but had too much chlorine in the water.

Nice budget stay

Memorable Stay in a nature friendly Resort at Wayanad

Checked in this beautiful property very well located next to the hills and jungle very close to nature but I'll have to stop here.
The room initially allotted to me was without any windows, dark, sick room, fungus on the roof, giving foul smell, wonder how they can offer such a room to their guests. Anyway, after lot of hassel and time wasting a very nice very big and spacious room with many windows opening towards the hills given to us, of course after paying extra up gradation charges which I dont mind. The room is comfortable and big with big bathroom with bath tub. I was told that hot water will be provided from 6.30 am to 9.30 am and again from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Even after 6.30 pm the water was not hot enough, hardly lukewarm and we had to take bath with almost cold water.
No packaged water is provided in this hotel, even they have restriction on providing filtered water which is least desired. Even toilet rolls are not provided in this hotel.
The attitude of the front office is nothing more then casual, they keep trying to pass the ball to the OYO representative, back and fore, which is irritating and not good at all. 
Nothing to write home about the cold breakfast they serve limited to only two items.
Yet I strongly feel that if the management is serious then this hotel can really become a nice place to stay in Sultan Bathery.

Nice Location, Nice Property but with Rider

Spoiled my whole trip due to very very dreadful and terrible suit room given to me (shared some pics here). Please don't ever book rooms of this hotel through OYO or Makemytrip. 

This hotel have seven suit rooms, out which three have balcony. Out of these three, two balconies are facing towards backside which will give you a "nice?" view to a junk yard of neighbouring house with a foul smell. So don't book suit rooms by seeing the picture in  OYO or Makemytrip.

They didn't allow me to change my room even though there were many free suits available which were not occupied when I checked in. They told it is sold out, how can they say that, I had booked a "Luxury suit room" without specifically mentioning room number or anything. They didn't allow me to select a good one from available suits. The irresponsible receptionist told me to contact OYO customer care when I argued for a good room. 

So they will CHEAT YOU TOO if you book suit rooms in Apps since all seven suits are different from each other.

See the pictures shared, car porch pavement tiles are used in rooms and many are broken and are with stains. Wall paints are became puffy and powdery. Shower had given a WonderLa bath to me. Bath room door knob was broken.

Never Take Luxury suits

Not recommended at all. 
Worst Hotel in Wayanad, Kerala. Unhygienic Rooms and Worst Management and Staff.
Swimming Pools and Games Center are there way to make fool of guest and attract them to come to there hotel.
Whereas the fact is Swimming Pool is in maintenance since last 6-7 Months. And in Game Room , all the machines of Gym are in very bad condition and billiards table and T.T Table also doesn't have even standard quality.
When it comes to room , fan is not working properly, not at all comfortable beds and also only 20 channels are subscribed in the DTH Pack, out of which 10 are in there local language.
There manager Mr. Riju doesn't know how to behave with there guests also.

Go on your Risk .
