Imy Homestay

This was the best place to stay in whole Kashmir! The entire family is super friendly and funny. It was always nice to have a chat with them, they are all heartwarming people! 

Imy and his father could always give us good information about sightseeing and helped us to organize everything we needed help with. We did not have a car so they even picked us up from the airport, the communication was always really easy and good.
They also have a really good cook who is named Nazeer. He made the best food ever, it was always fresh and tasty!

The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom has a geezer and was also really clean. The bed was comfy and had many blankets and pillows. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly all the time! 

There are a lot of different things to do around Dal Lake and Nageen Lake, if you need help to organize your trips Imy can also help by booking trekking trips! 

It was so calm and relaxing at the homestay I would definitely recommend it to anybody and would love to come again! <3 :)

The time at the homestay by Imy and his family was great. We’ve been there for 12 days and since the first day we felt very comfortable! 
The room was cozy and clean, the area around the homestay was really peaceful and reaching the Dal lake needs only two minutes walk. :) 
Also Imy and his family are very openminded, they helped us to arrange some different tours and showed us nice places in Srinagar.😊
Everyday we enjoyed the fresh Indian meals that were prepared by the cook Nazeer and we loved it a lot. 
The whole experience was really nice and we would like to visit Imy and his family again! :)

We were in Imy Homestay in January and February for about 15 days. It was snowing and having this experience was amazing. The hot shower and internet were working. We felt warm inside the house. The cook, Nasseer, is amazing, and we had the chance to taste amazing genuine Kashmiri food. It felt like home to be here! The family was lovely and Imy helped us a lot, and he even arranged us trekking on the mountains, in Naranag. It was incredibly beautiful and fulfilling. We truly recommend!!

Imy homestay is a nice homely place with good bedding and heating facilities. The caretakers mr. Imtiyaz and mr. Naseer are really nice people who are really working hard towards customer satisfaction and are really helpful people who make your stay really memorable. The food is very nice. You can get homely nice kashmiri food which are really delicious and very affordable. A must go for a peaceful and nice stay in kashmir.

It was our very first time in Kashmir and it couldn’t be better than starting it with IMY homestay. It was our very first experience at a homestay and we loved it. 
The entire team from Imtiaz, Naseer & Zohair were so hospitable. 

The room given to us was facing Nageen lake and the view from our window was fantastic. The breathtaking view of Nageen lake, a few meters from our homestay was amazing and you cannot ask for more. 

Coming to the master chef Naseer  @IMY made the most wonderful meals for us with so much love which was not only evident in the flavour of his preparation but also his hospitality. 
My wife is gluten intolerant and he did his best to prepare meals for her accordingly. 
I can’t get over the Kashmiri dum aloo and paneer matar that he made for us on our last day. 
Imtiaz the owner of the property is so humble & helpful. He kept in touch with me all through until I landed and made sure we didn’t have any hurdles. 
Amin bhai our guide/driver took such good care of us as if we were his family. This is our most memorable trip for a lifetime.

One of the best home stay i ever had. This place is awesome for every kind of traveller. I booked for only 1 day and ended up staying there for 4 nights. Its a perfect place to stay with family,solo,or groups. The imtiyaz bhai and his family will make sure that your stay will be comfortable and you must feel like you r in your own home.
The caretaker cum chef Mr Nasir bhai ( will meet u with big smile every time)makes  one of the best dishes , in fact we have never got such a fantabilous and delicious food in whole kashmir in our 9 days trip.
The smile on faces of nasir and Imy bhai is genuine and we feel safe and comfortable here. If you are looking for a place to stay in kashmir then u came ta the right place. just book it ,i bet you will not regret.
You can do day trips to various nearby places like sonmarg, Doodhpatri,GUlmarg and Pahalagam. If you like hiking then imy bhai also arranges the trekking tours,as i have not opted for it. but heard good things about hus planning and facilities. will definetly try when ill be back with my friends.
The rooms are super clean, the hygine level will be at par to 5 star hotels.
The Bunglow is having 7 rooms ,all are equiped with 24 hours hot water, Wifi,Electric Blankets, room heaters, Hot drinking water on request. There are so many things i can go on and on..
You need to come here and see with your own eyes.
As an indian i feel proud that one of my fellow indian taking care of all guest like God(Athithi Devo Bhav).
I met fellow travellers from different countries during my stay and my 10 year old son enjoyed interaction with them.
Overall a must stay , dont loose this oppertunity.(A more than value for money stay)

The experience with the Homestay and the owners was excellent. I took a tour package from Imtiyaz for my parent’s anniversary celebration and he made sure they have a great and a hassle free experience. His hospitality was so warm. 

The room was comfortable and clean. We visited during the peak winters so he made sure the rooms were warm (there’s a room heater and electric blanket). The food was home cooked and delicious. 

I came to Imys homestay for 5 nights and it was a great experience of both adventure and experiencing the local lifestyle. You can go skiing and hiking easily from here in the beautiful mountains of Sonamarg and Gulmarg. Imy is very patient and kind and will help you and take you to do anything you like (in my case - finding wedding outfits!) The family are very friendly and calm and the chef cooks delicious meals and drinks morning noon and night to keep you nourished for the duration of your stay and let you experience a huge variety of Indian meals and teas, all homemade from natural, local ingredients. The house is situated in the town and you can walk to the shops and see how the local bakers make their bread every morning, if you want to experience this. This city is beautiful in the summer and the winter. The house is cosy with electric blankets, blow heaters, gas heaters, hot showers and of course hot meals and drinks on tap 😉 I really felt at home here, which was great as I was travelling alone. The family make you feel at ease and let you work to your own times including meal preparation at your desired time, airport pick ups and drop offs etc. I can’t recommend it more and I am so grateful for the hospitality I experienced. If you stay with Imy you will get the best Kashmiri experience!

I visited this place in November 1st week when the weather was very cold. Location is calm and extremely warm and friendly host. Must stay if you are in Srinagar. Highly recommend the place. The host provides you with temperature controlled  blankets

The hosts abdul and naseer are incredible. They went above and beyond for a friend who was not well and even came to pick us up from the hospital when we couldn't find transport. The food is homely and the best we have had in Kashmir. The property is clean and well maintained. Walking distance from lake.
