This was how i felt with the Himalayan Retreat Neelkanth. The service, the hospitality is superb. The location is heaven on earth, it rests upon a mountain top with a clear view of beautiful Nainital and nearby areas. I’d recommend anyone who visits Nainital to stay at the Himalayan Retreat Neelkanth and trust me it is worth every single penny you spend. It is a medicine to your soul and mind and the best part about the stay is that you get to meet strangers who eventually will become these friends where you suddenly exchange contacts and you find ways to stay connected with each other and this is the beauty of man being a social animal.

If u want peace, enjoy nature & beautiful sight seeing, than i think it's best option in nainital.

The motto is quite clear here. Never say No to guest. They accomodated every single demand we had. Mr Ankit the owner guides about the place and history in terrific way. Ustad Ji is the person who will make mouth watering dishes on order. Food is served absolutely fresh. Everything was amazing. Visit for view , visit for leisure time and visit for food. Overall makes it complete package.  All the best.

Yes, the hotel is a bit distance from the mall road, but that is what gives you what you take a break for – to have some time away from the loudness and busy life you are engrossed with on all other days. Believe me, the tiredness of the almost ten minutes ride from Mall road would be gone as you step into the hotel.

Not only this, the hotel offers local sightseeing all at normal local rates, not on the expected exorbitantly high ones. Feel free to ask the same fearless.

i visit this hotel on 17th feb with my wife. himalayan retreat neelkanth is 3km from market. Hotel provide pick and drop. Property is just awsome. There r so many activies to do like they have fussball , carom , table tennis , badminton , jungle trak etc. All side valley view with the personal balcony which gives a very romantic moment with ur partner. Beautiful sunrise view from the hotel room. At night u can take a charm of bonfire with music. We just loved our trip. Thanks Himalayan retreat neelkanth for making our trip memorable. MUST VISIT HOTEL.

I visited this quaint little hotel in the lap of the beautiful uttarakhand mountains in the month of April,2019.

This is the place to be if what you are looking for is a break from the hustle-bustle of the metro cities.

A friend recommended this place and I am glad that I took her advice. This is truly an amazing place,surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides. Its location on a hilltop gives you the opportunity to have a wonderful view of sunrise and sunset from your room itself.

The hotel is located 2-3kms away from the main city which takes about 15 minutes to cover. The road to the hotel is lined with trees and has certain areas that give you breathtaking views of the valley and mountain ranges.

Talking about the hotel itself, the rooms are spacious and neat. The bedding is clean and the standards of hygine are up to the mark. The food too is finger licking good and made with a lot of care to cater to your specific requirements(if any). The staff is polite and cooperative. The owner, Mr. Ankit, is a very hospitable and willing to help. He was very helpful in organizing our tour and in arranging the required transportation.
  
Coming onto the negative part....the only drawback to this place is the road leading to this property. The road is not that well maintained and may cause a little botheration. That being said it is worth crossing this road to get to the hotel.

In conclusion I just want to say that I would surely recommend this place to all nature lovers looking for a relaxing time. This is the place to be if you wish to get the true experience of a hill station.

PS: The property is very safe even for female travellers(groups and solo).

Nature lover's paradise

In Holi vacation, we made a trip to Nainital with my family,and we booked two rooms in this resort. It is located at a spot of nature beauty and calm surroundings, sunrise make a good feel in us in our mornings. Food was very delicious like home cooked paneer bhuji n Pahadi chicken a must try ... highly recommended. As I m a very foodie n a chef I love to explore Local food so I  asked the cook to cook Pahadi cuisine n they did a great job. Staff Sanju took us to thier village for Holi celebrations ...they warmly welcomed n played Holi with us. The owner arranged live Phahadi folk song n music...we enjoyed n dance.On the occasion of Holi owner arranged campfire,Music, delicious Dinner.Complimentry break fast was served.Both kids n adults played indoor games. They Arrenged cab for pick n drop from Hotel. The service and dealing of the hosts are impressive.Love to visit again n again...but missed local fruits....

If you are looking for a peaceful environment away from city hotchpotch then "Himalayan Retreat Neelkanth" is a place for you.
This place is not a typical hotel type, its a home stay cottage.
I spent 2 days at this place, personally i loved the hospitality, food & location. Even you can go to the trekking from this cottage.
I'll recommend to stay here for atleast 2-3 days here.
I appreciate the hospitality from Mr Ankit (Owner) & Sanju(Care Taker)..

Want to feel a nature - Visit this place

I visited this hotel in may with my friends. It was a great experience. Initially we were sceptical as the road to the hotel is not that well maintained. However on reaching the hotel we realized it was a good decision to choose this hotel. 

The view is simply outstanding. The food is finger-licking good and the staff is very cooperative.

I would recommend this hotel to all nature lovers.
