My wife and I went on a tour with Mysteries of India in March, just before the lockdown. One of the places we stayed at was this priceless gem. Mr and Mrs Singh,the owners, treated us like royalty. The home stay only has only five rooms and we were the only guests at the time. It was my wife's special birthday and Mrs Singh, who is an excellent cook who prepared six individual dishes to choose from every day, cooked an even more special meal as well as helping us celebrate with firework and a homemade birthday cake. Honestly, we have never been treated so well. We didn't make use of their excellent swimming pool as we didn't have our swimming gear, but it did look inviting. The walk around the village that Mr Singh gave us was really interesting and showed us some of the local cottage industries including block printing, rose growing to make jam and perfumes and the local potter. In the morning of our final day we visited the local market and flower market. Our two night stay was truly wonderful!
