We visited Kashmir in the month of March 2016. During our entire eight days in Kashmir, we stayed one night at Sonmarg. Hotel Czara Resort is on the main Srinagar - Leh highway i.e. around 8-9 km prior to Sonmarg. The hotel is situated in the bank of Sindh river.  Rooms are equipped with all basic amenities and attach bathroom & separate balcony, from where you can see the river, glaciers. The place is actually called Gagangir, Sonmarg.  Hotel is having free parking facility. We enjoyed lot specially kids.

The hotel is on the main Srinagar - Leh highway. The hotel is situated in the bank of the river and from the balcony, we could see the glaciers clearly. The sound of flowing river is charming. The hotel is a small unit (has 10 operational rooms) and about 9km away from Sonmarg. The rooms are large and has adequate space to have an extra bed. The beds are equipped with bed heaters to protect travelers from cold. The staff are very polite and nice. Hot water was not available in the tap but supplied to us in buckets whenever we required. Limited choice for food as the guys have to pick up stuff from Sonmarg market. The rooms have good quality carpet and curtains. The views from the window is really good as you can see the flowing river as well as the nearby mountains and glaciers. The hotel took care of our reliable driver - Mr. Rashid Bhai(+919419953729) who had picked us up from Srinagar airport and was driving us till Kargil with an overnight stay at Sonmarg.

Best resort in Sonmarg

We did a day trip to Sonmarg from Srinagar. While coming back we stopped here for lunch. The food was good. We enjoyed the steamy food in such a cold weather. The staff were good. The main attraction this hotel is the location. It was awesome. The view is beautiful. It is situated just beside the river and you can see the mountains just behind the river. It was a small but nice experience.

i have make a phone to your customer care that on 9/7/15 my booking was for c zara resort.but they have shifted me to zum zum which was not as per standard like c zara resort.it is also told that govt.has occupied our hotel but c zara my room was booked for another person.this is not fair.
