Excellent hotel with attentive and courteous staff. We have visited in 2017 and still the rooms are very well maintained. Cleanliness is good and beds are with electric blanket which can give you very warm and cozy feeling. Overall worth visiting this hotel👍😊

An amazing hotel to stay when visiting Solang valley in Himachal Pradesh. The hotel is located in the valley with amazing views of snow clad mountains, and river. The hospitality of the hotel is really welcoming. The staff is really friendly and very approachable. Amazing facility for families, groups and solo travelers.

This niche property is everything a trekker can ask for. 

We had planned to make the best of our Solang stay by doing multiple short treks like the Palchan village, Bakhar Taj, Anjani Shiva temple as also do some fun activities. Based on a previous reference, we decided to make Iceland as the base for our stay. Strategically located near the adventure venue (cable car, para gliding), the hotel met and exceeded all out expectations. 

The staff is extremely courteous. The owners (Mr Luder and Mr. Khem) were actively involved in managing the hotel and showered us with a lot of personal attention. They took care of us right from transport (from-to Chandigarh airport), cosy stay, homely food and guided treks. 

The overall ambience is well worth the stay.  Absolutely value for money.

Its located at solang valley.
Pros
1) excellent value for money hotel.
2) Family oriented.
3) staff especially manager Mr Sunil is very helpful.
4) we visited when there was snowfall and minimum temperatures were almost minus 8 . The heating facilities, warm bedding, etc 
were adequate. Hot water and geysers were working round the clock. The generator always kicked in in case of power failure. 
5) hotels is  close to general stores,  ATV rides,
Wine shop, skating ground, etc.
The famous and must visit solang valley and ropeway were just 10/12 minutes walk away.
6) the food was tasty in general. The staff was good enough to provide room dining even though the rooms were full.

The pickup and drop facilities booked thru hotel were very good and most economical as compared  to market rates.

Cons:
1) the kitchen was very slow and some times a very simple order would take long to be served. This was probably bcoz the hotel was full as snowfall had taken place and it was a long weekend.
The listed menu has little variety and many items were unavailable.

Will always come back to this place.

December 2020 last week . We were at hotel iceland .amazing place with amazing view .it's an small hotel with an big heart . They don't say no to any request .food at their restraunt is lip smacking and hygienic . We visited in peak winter which made this hotel look even more beautiful.
They made special arrangements for our new year party in that chilling weather ,made us feel special .
Thanks you ice land ,great memories here .will definitely visit again .
 

Its probably the best location in Solang Valley to stay , no hustle bustle of the city Manali! Beautiful views.Value for money and excellent place to stay..Hotel staff was really polite and humble and very descent.
Food and service quality is excellent.

Went skiing feb 2019. Fabulous place.
Excellent food. Very skilled instructors. Lot of the trainers have participated in competetive skiing for India in various international events including olympics.
Would recommend to anyone who warts to learn skiing. I have taken both my children and they have become enthusiastic skiers now.

I have stayed here twice earlier. This time I was not able to book on time so had to stay else where. But visited the place again for lunch.. And I think this place deserves a review. I can't believe that after so many years when I first visited the hotel in 2010.. Food quality has remained the same.. its probably the best food in the hills we have had!!  And it was still the same in 2019.. Wow!! 

Its probably the best location in Solang Valley to stay! Beautiful views..Great places around to trek.. Or you can just sit and chill in the open porch area, sipping tea and looking at the beautiful mountain view.. Food is DELICIOUS!! Staff is polite, smiling and nice to talk to. Rooms were good too.. overall value for money and excellent place to stay.. Have had good memories from here!

Will I stay  here again? Yes, Definitely!
 

Iceland hotel is by far one of the best hotels you will ever find in solang in terms of location, quality of rooms, a good and cooperative staff, and good food.
Our overall experience was great that i there is no such reason for them to receive less than 5 star. 
i would also want to thank their manager Mr.Roshan and also other staff members and last but not the least Mr. Khemraj owner of the hotel to be this courteous and generous in assistance. We spend three days there with our family and it was wonderful.

Good hotel at Solang valley for mid way stop towards Keylong baralachala pass or towards spiti valley.
There is slight car parking issues but hotel staff helps for that also.
Good room views, Good food and ambience and peaceful stay.
Hotel staff are friendly. If Solang valley is the stop then this hotel is very good to stay. And prices are also reasonable of food and rooms as well.
