The Shubham Residence was very good place to stay at Aurangabad. The owners treated us like family members they charged very less price for food and served hot and yummy meals when asked. Was was good for drinking and shower and bed and pillow where clean

Shivam residency is a very good property walking distance from Ghrisneshwar temple.
I visit temple along with family and stayed there. rooms are clean and hospitality by shri Patil was memorable. second floor of residency is under construction. hope after construction rooms are equipped with more modern facilities.
I vist there Ghrishneshwar jyotrirlinga and ellora caves. Kailasha cave was the best i feel. ST buses available with ticket basis to visit cave no. 34 n 35.

We travel alot. This has been one of the better places on our trip of two months and 14 places now. It is peaceful and the family is very nice. The poha in the morning is very good and chai as well. The room we had was large and had the balcony. There are two floors above the ground level of the house with probably 14 rooms. Ours was clean and everything was okay for the 5 days we stayed. Can't really ask for anything better except for the water for bathing. I do not know how it is for the other rooms but it was only luke warm water, which was fine. But others may fine this to be bothersome. Need to ask to have the hot water turned on. Lunch and dinner was fantastic. Need to ask for these as well. The family is happy to help and provide. Location is a short walk to Grishneshwar Temple and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Ellora Caves.

1 - Property is in 500 meters range of Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirling Temple and around 1 Km from entry point of Ellora Caves

2 - Property owner was very nice, helpful family. They guide you well for everything.

1 - Though they offer tea, food etc but it is all home made. Couldn't decide if I should put it as +ve or -ve hence putting here.

Ellora and Ghrishneshwar Visit

Shubham Residence

One should visit the place in his/her lifetime to know the rich heritage our country has. Ellora caves are completely carved out from stone thousands of years back and are one of UNESCO's world heritage sites. The caves are closed on Tuesday. Entry starts at 9.30 AM daily and MSRTC buses ply close to all caves. Enter the caves at 9.30 AM and you should be done by lunch. There is lot of climbing up and down the place and it can make you feel tired. Best season to travel is winter. Carry your own water bottle. You won't get it inside especially when you visit caves 26-30. 

There is Lord Shiva temple Ghrushneshwar near caves. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. May be because of the temple so close to caves, main food options are only veg.

Mediocre service but caves are worth visiting

1.	This is not a hotel, only a home in which some rooms are let out to customers
2.	There is no staff, only the owner and his dim wit old father. The owner is absconding for most of the day and the stupid old man can not understand what your requirements are.
3.	No soap, no towel, no drinking water unless you ask three to four times and wait outside their kitchen and carry it your self to your room, TV not working, AC not working (though they charge for AC room), no night lamp in the room, no parking, no power backup of any kind when electricity fails,
4.	Though room was booked well in advance, it was not cleaned (The Reason being, the cleaning lady had gone for lunch at 4 PM, and as a result we were kept out for 3 hours, so we went for some sight seeing)
5.	We were charged Rs. 1200 for a non AC room that was dirtier than a road side piss house
Please avoid this place.
