This review is not for the cottages but for the shack in front, which serves food. We stopped by the shack last week and were treated in very friendly manner. Drinks were cold and authentic. Food was hot and tasty. The lady of the shop came out and spoke with us. Toilet has a lock and key and was clean. 
They also had massage ladies in front who are not exactly part of this business but work on beach in front of this shack. If you go, please get a massage from Sangeetha. She is very good !! In 40-45 minutes, she gave me a beautiful massage and took away all my tiredness and stiff bones from sleeping in hotel beds. 
All in all, great stuff and great people.

Sea Horse Shack

We stopped on the sun loungers for a drink. The staff was not very friendly. They refused to give us the WiFi password but were a bit cold about it. The toilets were disgusting and grim. Don't try to turn the tap on it's not for the sink.. It's for the shower head above you!
When we paid the bill the waiter stood by us until we gave him a tip.. which he really did not deserved. 

Not very good cafe

Very bad hospitality. No worth for amt paid. Food is horibal. Hotel staff r very arrogant especially the manager Mr. Neel is very arrogant person. No hot water facility in room.

All sorts of problems . At Late checkup ( we sent a message in advance to make them aware of it and do the proper arrangements  ) we discover the phone number were incorrect  . No one to contact on arrival at night . After struggle for a hour to find a number to call finally we find the updated number on the spot , then someone finally staff show up . Another sort of problem starts .. the staff insisted on put us on a no-AC cottage with Hard smeel of mold even we have argue with them that we a proof that we paid a AC-Room . Poor quality mattress . On the day-2 we gave up Of that and requested the refund of the remainig the days from Expedia . The good is the breakfast .

only good point i felt about this hotel was it is very close to beach just 30 metres.but there are negative points too.did not find room clean and there were lot of insects in bathroom and continuous flow of water from the first floor.coming to food part cant complaint as i did not taste at the restaurant ,but i did not find much staff over there.and there was voltage issues too.owner does not smile much. this resort could be improved with better maintenance of rooms and regular cleaning if the restrooms

When we reached the resort it was dead there were no staff  .finally by God's grace there was contact number of a staff named Suresh on the sign board he than made us stay @ vista praia .had booked for a.c. cottage and had to stay at non a.c. one

It was a bad experience over all ,

Nothing in the room excep a bed / AC. No soap / No towel / No toilet paper / No tissue paper/ No Phone / No TV / No coffee / tea Facilities. Cottages not facing sea/ Rooms very close to each other, you can hear what's happening next room to yours. Loud music till late night: Not worth staying: Just over price: Same owner as Vista Priara which is also over price. Will Never Stay here Again. Internet doesn't work in the room: only at the restaurant

I must say that the location is pretty good. Rooms are basic but cozy. They have a nice dining area facing the beach but the shack is not that happening. Ofcourse you have the option of hopping to nearby restaurants. 

Clean rooms near the beach

Stayed for 3 night over the NYE period, so the price was extremely high for what it is (3x the normal price), and after staying it was not worth it! The positive is the location, literally on the beach, and they serve decent food. Staff were friendly enough. The cottage itself was not great. Hot water only worked once during the 3 days. It can get very hot during the day as there is no shade over the cottages. Very thin walls so can be noisy at night. Only a small fan inside they charge extra for the AC.

The cottages are a good accommodation, without hot air conditioning during the day, but at night they are great. Bring a sheet, they only provide a blanket of batteries that I frankly wouldn't put directly on the skin. The guys at the reception are friendly and available, the rude and inefficient waiters, the beach staff do nothing, they don't even collect the bottles and garbage that remains on the beach in the middle and in front of the beds.
