Came there after exhausting trip around Iceland. The friendly owner put a vinyl record on his turntable, showed the room and left. The place looks more like museum or library, very clean, warm carpets. Even though the shower and toilet are shared, each room has basin with cold/hot water. The linens, towels are clean. The fridge contains various food of excellent quality. I felt that the owner, Erik, loves what he is doing: providing not just the bed for night sleep, but comfortable place where you enjoy every minute of yoyr stay. Thank you so much, Erik!

I traveled by bus to Keflavik arriving the afternoon before flying out early the next morning. This is an ideal place for a stopover, especially if you have an early flight. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Mrs Hjartarson dropped me at the airport the morning at 6am. Before that I could help myself to breakfast which included cereals, breads, meats, cheese, juice, coffee, tea as early as I wanted. The room is spacious with good curtaining. It is about a 15 minute walk to the bus station.

I was placed at the GG Guesthouse on the first night of my Iceland trip after booking the BB Guesthouse. I ended up booking the GG GUesthouse again for my last night in Iceland. The owners were kind and drove me to the airport at an ungodly hour. Keep in mind that only one airport transfer is included in the price, and check the exchange rates that they use when charging you. The room was comfortable and had many nice touches not anticipated at a guesthouse. The breakfast options were plentiful and the place was immaculately clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

One of the best places I ever stayed

Excellent stopover before an early flight

Great for an overnight by the airport.

Cozy and homey place to crash before heading to the airport on an early morning. They have a full service kitchen for your use and a simple breakfast buffet (crackers, bread, spreads). Despite offering free airport transfers, we had to pay 2300 ISK for the taxi they called on our behalf. At least it wasn't more than that to go to the airport. Since they don't accept card, paying by cash (14,000 ISK for our room with 2 twin beds) might be a little bit inconvenient for some travelers.

Decent crash space, but had to pay for the airport transfer

The room was clean and the shower room and bathroom was clean as well. Breakfast items are provided (skyr, meats, cheese) as well as free WiFi. The sheets were very rough and scratchy but when you are tired that doesn't matter too much. The free ride to and from the airport is appreciated.
