I booked the room to have a nice place to rest from cycling. But unfortunately I was not satisfied at all. And all that for about 30€... I had much better rooms in Hungary for less money.
The stuff was more interessted in her cellphone then on the few guests. There was no hot water until I complained, there was no toiletpaper and the wifi worked very poorly on my room. 

Not worth the money

+ Good location near the city center and thermal pools
- Dirty rooms and bathroom
- Outdated equipment
- Beds (mattresses), where you can not sleep
- Not friendly staff including Mrs. owner
- Served breakfast, which do not always get everything
- Different amounts of food at breakfast by guests nationality

Pros-located in the old town of Gyor, 5mins walk to train station, 15mins walk to shopping mall and 2mins walk to convenience store Spar.
-Lovely owner and cleaning lady but both have poor English which makes communication difficult
-Breakfast was plentiful and served between 7-10am. Although a few times we went down earlier and there were no problems
-heating and hot water adequate
Cons-new beds are desperately needed as all springs has went, hallow in the middle, no support and squeaks with every little movement
-that goes along with saying new bed clothes too as the blankets were old and shabby
-lampshades were falling apart
-weak shower and unpleasant smell in the bathrooms (but maybe thats all Hungary)
-quite a lot of stairs, fine for young people but definitely not for the elderly 

Conclusion: Fine for young people travelling and backpacking 1 or 2 nights. Definitely not for the elderly or longer stays. It is a pity as the owner and the cleaning lady (the only 2 people who seems to run the place) are really truly nice people. If they do a reno i'd have no hesitation in going back.

Good location, but hotel desperately needs a renovation

In a very useful location, only 5 minutes on foot to the beutiful historical centre, 7 minutes on foot to thermal aquapark (Raaba Quelle). Old furniture and generally all equipmet in the guest house. But alltogether good choice for low cost travellers who want to be in the centre for a low price.

Excelent location, for budget travellers

Terrible!! Arrived  after a very long flight at 11.30pm. Emailed the owners several times prior to arrival to ensure that my booking was confirmed and they were expecting me. Upon arrival, they had not booked another group of students....so I had to be without a room and sleep on the couch in their room (these were strangers, I did not sleep well). All the owners who couldn't speak English kept saying was 'problem?' and held their arms out. When I finally got a room the next day it was dirty, the bathroom was very old and the shower head had to be held so that it didn't fall and hit me on the head. Hot water and heating were switched off for very long periods of time...even in the very cold temperatures. I wore 2 hoodies to bed and was still cold. This only came back on for a couple of hours after requesting it.
The owners cat made itself at home and wanders into the rooms as it pleases. At breakfast the cat liked to jump onto the chairs at the table and the dogs liked to lie beside it too.
Very poor upkeep of the guest house. I understand that it is cheap, but hygiene should be a priority. Bedding was old, had holes in it and blotches of paint.
 I have stayed in many 2 star guest houses and hotels that were like a palace compared to this.
