Gebetsroither - Camping Fured

We are a family of 4, with two children (7 and 11) and stayed at the camping in our own caravan for 3 weeks on a big place (120m2) Overall we enjoyed our stay. The main reason we chose this camping is for its location, and we were not let down. We spent many days in the sun on the field on the lake-side and made several nice trips in the area. The environment is beautiful and we had wonderfull weather. What else do you need? Facilities could and should be better, but these are secondary to us. If you are looking for spotless and new facilities, I suggest to look for another place. Plusses: The beach area around the lake side is very nice. Plenty of room and a clean grass area. The bar and cafeteria on the lake side are good and offer good value for money. We had a nice big place for our caravan, with room to spare for our car. The location is nice. We had several day trips to nice place in the are. Supermarket is close by. The pool is nice (but dated and needs urgent maintenance/renovation). Our kids liked the facilities around the lake (childrens water slide, play ground, water bicycles, water trampoline area) It is not expensive. Minuses: The sanitary facilities could be better. They are dated and it's always a wait-and-see if there is hot water. The dishwashing area simply did not have hot water when we were there (we used hot water from our caravan). They should also increase the number of shower places. We now had to wait in line several times. We had some noisy neighbours late at night (after 1am) and because there is no patrolling security guard, no curfew is enforced. Not good knowing the kids wake up early the next day...
