Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Argassi.

Nice large room kept spotless by the cleaner, who was lovely.

Nice pool with plenty of cushioned sunbeds.

Staff were all very nice.

Around the pool was lovely, quiet and relaxing.

Would recommend.

 As a lone traveller staff and guests were really friendly I made some new friends! Special mention to Pete the evening barman a Top Man! Had a brilliant time here would recommend to friends and family 

I had some annual leave to use up and managed to get a four-day trip to Zakynthos, staying at La Sirena, through Jet2.

The first thing, and the only reason I considered marking this down, is that we arrived and there had been a mix up between Jet2 and the hotel so me and my dad were only given one room. We refused that and they eventually found him another room that he would have to change from after a night. In the end, they juggled things around to sort it out, but as we arrived late at night it was a bit of a pain.

It is a lovely little hotel with enough rooms that there is a nice atmosphere, but not so many that it is crowded. 

The rooms are huge, decorated pleasantly with a little kitchenette (including fridge). They are kept very clean with bed linen and towels laid out on the beds.

Every room has a view of the pool area and the balcony looks like a nice space to sit and relax (although watch out for the mosquitos getting in the room!)

The pool area is nice - small but has everything you need with sun loungers, main pool and kids pool and a pool bar/snack bar. 

The barman (Peter, I think) in the evening (from 4pm to midnight) was brilliant, he kept a bit of an atmosphere so everyone would join in with having a chat but if you didn't want to you could just enjoy the bar. His mojitos were excellent - best cocktail I found in Agassi during the brief trip! There was good music, comfortable chairs, fairy lights, just a really nice and relaxing little bar at any time of the day/evening. One day I had a Greek salad for lunch at the bar and that was really nice and a good sized portion as well. My dad enjoyed a cheese and ham toasted sandwich too.

Location was also brilliant - short walk down to the main street in Agassi so you're slightly outside of the busy area but close enough to walk in easily. We would often walk in early to buy a coffee, I walked in at lunchtime for a small gyros, and then we'd walk in later for an evening meal.

When I arrived, jet2 hadn’t communicated my reservation with the owners. But the owner made sure I got a room despite the confusion and made me feel at home. The rooms are beautiful. I would rate this around a 4 star. Very clean, very big. The cleaner mimosa is always very happy and does a good job of tidying up your room everyday. Lovely to talk to! The location is great only a couple minutes walk from the strip and beach. Peppermint restaurant is a must opposite the hotel! And the bakery on the corner for coffee and breakfast! Pete the bartender. Can not thank him enough for looking after me on the bar. Very talented at making cocktails and his service is 10/10 best cocktails I had on the island. I would highly recommend to solo travellers here I had everything I could’ve wanted and felt safe! Please don’t let the bad reviews put you off! The owners and workers work so hard and it shows !

Just returned from a week at La Sirena with my 2 children. Such a lovely, quiet place. Family run apartments with a lovely pool and pool bar. Only 10 min walk
To the strip, with a little shop and bakery 5 mins away. Pete the barman made the best Mojito I have ever had and the kids loved him. Thank you for such a lovely holiday. We will be back!!

Lovely clean apartments, very friendly helpful staff especially Peter the barman, close to amenities and in a quiet spot. The resort is great with so many amazing places to eat and drink the only downside was the beach which isn't the best and you definitely need a sunbed

Excellent service, very clean, helpful staff. Anna was so helpful and well manner. At the pool bar staff Vasiliki and Peter were very friendly. Cleaner Maria is very honest ( I left money on the table deliberately, in my absence she comes for cleaning and the money was untouched ) I'm highly impressed. She deserved a good tip and we gift her. Anna and her family are so supportive and friendly, I don't feel like I'm in a hotel, it feels like a family. I prefer to go again. My rating is 10/10. 

My first ever solo trip abroad and I couldn't have chosen anywhere better for my experience than Zakynthos and La Sirena Hotel. Set off the main strip it is perfectly peaceful. As a solo traveller I was made to feel very safe and welcome which put me at my ease. The hotel is very well run and maintained, its absolutely spotless. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. The pool bar has Maria throughout the day and she is just the loveliest lady! Kept me well looked after with food and drinks and all served with a smile. The hotel owners are always on hand for any issues and are very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Zante. Tonight I go home but it won't be long til I return to la sirena and enjoy it once more. Thank you to all the staff and owners for giving me an amazing holiday!

Just got back from our stay here. Our first time visiting Greece and it wont be the last. We've already priced it up for next year.
Modern clean spacious rooms with a balcony. We were in one of the end rooms  so had a sea view aswell. Fridge, kettle & 2 ring hot plate in the room if needed & a safe. 
Lovely pool, and Pete on the bar is brilliant. Fantastic cocktails, and a brilliant atmosphere. Hotel is small which I loved. Met some fantastic people during our stay which made our holiday. Its about a 10 min walk to the strip where's there's plenty of bars, restaurants & pool bars. We had a late flight home & we kept the room till we got picked up for 20 euros which was fab, it ment we could have a shower & freshen up before getting on the bus. There's a supermarket & bakery on the corner 5 min walk.
We've loved every minute of our stay and we will be back

La Sirena is a little gem…I have stayed here twice and I cannot fault it at all. The owners and staff are so friendly, especially Maria and Pete on the pool bar.
The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean.
It’s in a perfect location for the strip and and the beach, just a 5- 10 minutes walk. There are lots of amazing restaurants and every single meal was delicious. Favourite restaurants are Zorbas and Peppermint.
I will definitely return to la sirena x

Fantastic trip

Perfectly adequate for a weeks chill break.  Perfectly clean and welcoming.  Maybe if anything the kitchen could be a little better stocked.  But that's the only thing.  PETE ... the barman starts at 4pm... makes the best Emily cocktail eva... and that became our family fave, Pete is amazingly welcoming and made us feel at home from our first afternoon there ❤️ 

Great hotel Great Location 

Lovely little complex

Located up a side street from the main road to the end of the resort towards the direction of Zante town near the church.  Easy walking distance to all shops, bars and restaurants.  On arrival you need to present you passports and the owner Kyriakos takes you to your room.  The complex consists of 21 guest rooms, 3 rows of 7 as shown on the photos with the top 3 rooms allocated to the owners accommodation.

Every room will have roughly the same view over the pool with just your preference on floor height to decide upon if you want to request one.  Five minutes’ walk down the road opposite the church there is a small supermarket where you can get the basics, including packs of water for your room.  Here you will also find Mylonas Bakery next door which does sandwiches and lovely cakes. The biggest supermarket is in the centre of town on the main corner named Supermarket Bazaar.

We were allocated Room 105 on the ground floor, entrance at the back and with the terrace overlooking the pool. The room was of a very good size and enough storage for your stay. Full size wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and a pair of bedside cabinets. The beds were nice, firm and comfortable. White soft sheets and eiderdown if needed. We only were supplied with one pillow each and asked for another at reception which was supplied without any problems.  There was also a flat screen TV on the wall, but we never used this.

The room was large in comparison to the bathroom which was very limited in space and could be a challenge for some of a larger build.  The bathroom was modern and clean with a shower which was always hot and powerful.  The shower cubicle was of average size and took a quarter of the bathroom space so the bathroom was very compact.  There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom, noting this only works with the light on as this also supplied power to the socket where the dryer was wired to.

Adjacent to the entrance door was the safe which was €30 for our 2 week stay.  It was small and was as tight fit for all our items but we managed nonetheless.  We also purchased the air con which was €120 for 2 weeks, and worked well although other on one occasion it became very noisy this was fixed immediately when we reported it to our lovely hosts.  The hotel tax was €7.00 for the duration of our stay. 

The terrace has a table and two director style chairs which were comfortable.  The kitchen area has a fridge limited in depth but enough to keep drinks and food cool. The freezer compartment which was separate above was great, one of the best ones we have had, it was large and big enough to freeze a few one litre bottles of water to take out with us for the day.  

There was also a kettle and a two ring hob, with limited cutlery and crockery, but enough for two guests.  No wine glasses, which we did not expect, or cereal bowls which we did find strange.  There were cups and saucers, plates of two sizes and glass tumblers. For those who like plenty of milk on your cereal take note regarding lack of bowls!  There was also no washing up liquid or tea-towels which we have had before in other places we have stayed recently in the Greek Islands.

The pool area was good, no struggle for a sunbed.  However, later in the day the sun starts to disappear behind the building  and the only ones in the sun are at the bottom corner.  Annoyingly, some people were leaving towels on these whilst they then went and sat in the shaded bar area.

Sunbeds were mesh type and comfortable enough, however, you can also add a cushion pad if you need from the storage room in the corner. The temperature in the pool was perfect, with the water edge just lapping over the sides.  Tiny birds come down to bathe which was lovely to watch. They serve the usual selection of drinks at the pool bar, and also offer a variety of cocktails. They have Alfa beer on draft, but we prefer Mythos which they also have in half litre bottles at €3.50 each served in a nice cold glass for your beer too!

On our last day we had breakfast which is usually 9-11am, however we asked if we could have this earlier due to our pick up time, which was no problem.  We had a small full English (€6.50) and a vegetarian breakfast (€7.50) which were both good, you can also have a full size English, Irish Breakfast or a continental.

So in summary we enjoyed our stay here.  Short walk to the small beach near the church just behind the children’s playground which was small but the best we could find in Argassi.  Easy walking distance to all shops, bars and restaurants.  Our favourite restaurants were Dyonisos, Charlie Chaplin & Peppermint Fresh Kitchen.  The latter is literally just across the road from La Sirena so very handy too!  Lovely couple own the hotel and pool bar is well maintained and looked after.  Kitchen could do with being better equipped, it didn’t bother us as we never cook whilst away but it my cause issues for some.

Absolutely no reason we can think of not to recommend La Sirena as a place to stay.  Stayed 10th  - 24th September when the weather was good although did start to get a little chilly on an evening last couple of days we were there.
