It was a pleasure to be your guest, the kindness of the staff, especially Sofia, location, hygiene, comfort, everything is at the highest level.

The hotel is not on the Caldera but only a few meters away from the main road and therefore an excellent value for money.  The caldera is a few minutes walk. A lot of car rentals close by , as well as good restaurants and cheap eats.   The reception service was excellent.  We were upgraded to a better room as there was availability which was greatly appreciated. We requested from the reception  for transportation (additional charge 35euros) from the port to the hotel. We were met on the main road and we had help taking our luggage to the hotel.  All the hotel rooms have nice views of the east part of the island.  Also for our departure we requested transportation to the airport  (30euro)  and the private van was there waiting for us. Help was provided to carry the luggage up the steps. The steps are not that many but the last  few are quite steep.  Fira  is full of steps anyway and may be part of its beauty.

Excellent choice! Why?
1) That part of town is not noisy so you can sleep well.
2) It has a couple of municipality parking lots close by so you can park the car and walk to the room.
3) the building is eastern oriented. That makes it cooler in summer evenings and helps you wake up naturally in the morning so you can enjoy the rest of your day on the island.
4) the people operating the space are very polite and always helpful.
5) well price positioned in comparison to the market.

I'll be booking it upon my revisiting the island.

Really decent accomodation. Close to the town centre and peaceful as set just down some steps from the main road. Reception staff were really friendly and the room was cleaned to a high standard each day :)

Stayed at Sweep Pop first week of September for a full week. The hotel location is ideal, right in the centre of Fira but not too close to the liveliest area, so that you enjoy your room and relax. The place is a real gem. Room and communal areas are extremely well cleaned. We had a wonderful room with sea view with a nice sized bathroom and plenty of storage space.
Personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful, with plenty of good info on local attractions, bars and restaurants. They are happy to do the reservation for you if you prefer.
There is also a small swimming pool, particularly useful of very hot days or on your last day, while you wait for your flight. We could even order cappuccinos and sandwiches delivered straight to the swimming pool!! 10 out 10 for Sweet Pop!

I visited Sweet Pop with my husband in August 2022. Rooms were nice and clean and the view from our balcony was amazing. Everything was within a walking distance (caldera view, restaurants, bakery and bus stop). Hotel staff was super nice and helpful. They shared the best places we should visit, booked tours and restaurants for us. We really appreciated it. Thank you for this amazing stay.

We were kindly allowed to check in much earlier than anticipated when we arrived at 11.30 on the morning of our stay, hoping to just drop our bags off for the afternoon. The room was modern and clean. The receptionist was very helpful when it came to organising boat trips, transfers etc. Location is very central, a short walk from the main square and coastal views of Fira. There are a number of steps to be ascended / descended to the property which is off the street, making it nice and quiet but potentially less accessible to some people. ATV/ quad rental and nice bakery just down the street. The receptionist also offered us use of a small showering / changing room area post checkout, which was very helpful. 

Excellent value for what we got and perfectly suited to our needs on what was an active couple of days exploring all of Santorini.

1-2 minute walk from everything in Fira without being surrounded by the hustle and bustle. Super quite, modernized and clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful owner and receptionist and little pool that gets sun morning to mid-afternoon. We had one of the "underground" cheaper rooms that had a window towards the top. It didn't feel like we were underground at all, despite not having a view of anything. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked perfectly, bathroom was large and modern with a square bathtub large enough to fit two people in, had air conditioning. Very quiet. They let us store our backpacks and swim in the pool a few hours before check-in and also afterwards. When we were searching for a good car rental company, the receptionist made a phone call on our behalf (in Greek) to ask about prices and availability, and Sweet Pop has discounts with some of the car rental companies. I needed a needle and thread, and Popi lent me her sewing kit. We also wanted to extend our stay for another night, and they were able to arrange for us to stay in the same room for the same price. Very accomodating and kind.

Stayed for 5 nights with a friend. Staff were incredibly helpful in booking tours and making dinner reservations. There was a nice pool, good shower and the location really couldnt be any closer to the action. It was quiet at night which was a huge plus

I had a great 5 night stay at Sweet Pop... balcony with sea and sunrise views; a nice little pool area to relax and cool down; good wifi; close to everything; great value for money in Santorini; and Maria was a friendly, kind host. I would definitely stay there again.

A good place to stay in Fira/ Santorini

Modern, comfortable and quiet

Due to rough seas (cancelled ferries), we needed an extra nights accommodation in Santorini. Where we were at the Sea of Aegeon (I've done a seperate review) didn't have availability for 8 of us. As its sister hotel, they made arrangements for Sweet Pop to accomodate us. Nice clean hotel with pool in the centre area. Great location, close to town. We had one twin room that was modern and the other room (110) was a more traditional looking room like a studio apartment with one large room housing 2 day beds & 2 trundles underneath in the kitchen, dining area and a smaller room with double bed that can be closed off. The bathroom comes off the double bed room. It gets very wet in there, no shower screen at all so water ends up all over the room & no window ventilation for it to air dry so not sure if this would be a problem for longer stays. The Sea of Aegeon suited us better for the amount of travellers we had, but the studio apartment room at Sweet Pop would be perfect for a family situation. I would recommend staying here.

Got two rooms at late notice

We stayed here for four nights and got a really good deal for it. The location is excellent, it’s close to everything, the only thing is you have to walk on the main road that has no sidewalk. Since we took the local bus everywhere, the location was key for us. The rooms are a bit tight and the bathroom is pretty small but it has everything you would need. We had a balcony in our room but unfortunately it faced a construction sites. The owner was always very helpful as well. 

I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget or if you do not really care for having any luxuries in your room such as a view or a pool in your room. Given the deal we got for this room, we were happy with our stay.

Good rooms, excellent location!

Booked this with little research, however, it turned out to be a fab location in the heart of Fira.
The hotel was gorgeous, very pretty but basic. We were lucky and had an amazing balcony view of the sea! The balcony was great and would recommend this.
The pool was nice and quiet and great for a hot day with comfy seating.
Staff were lovely and friendly, recommend!

Oh, one last thing - the taxi service they offer was great and very reliable 

Lovely little hotel!

Stayed in a triple bed room for 2 nights. Was slightly disappointed that our room was below ground level hence no view from the window. Room was clean and spacious and had a big bathroom (with a tub). Reception was located on the 2nd floor hence you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Those staying below ground level also need to carry luggage down the stairs (not many steps though). 
There was no breakfast provided but you can easily find one in Fira town itself. We also arranged airport transfers via the hotel. Lastly, good service from Maria and fellow colleagues.
