El Greco Resort & Spa

We visited the El Greco Resort for a wedding. There was a group of 12 people over the week we were there. From the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble for all members of staff from the guys who pick up your luggage delivering to your door, the receptionist, the bar and restaurant staff who every morning tried to seat us together to most amazing housekeeper Eka l have ever had met , who waited with excitement to see how my daughters wedding had gone even though she had many more rooms to clean. We all stayed in premier rooms which are situated round the pooI, it is definitely the personal touches that matter. My daughter was staying in the Santorini Place but had booked two nights in El Greco for the night before the wedding and the wedding night she was put in room 309. The hotel gave her one of the best rooms in the hotel with views of the Caldera they delivered champagne compliments of the hotel then ordered taxis for guests and provided anything needed. My daughter and her Husband were so impressed they tried to book the room for the rest there holiday but unfortunately it was booked up.The resort itself we managed as a party of 12 to always get a bed, breakfast was good could find something most mornings especially the daily pastries, food in the restaurant was good and a large glass of wine €6 and beer €6.50 all served by the bar but there is no problem taking your own drinks as there is a fridge in room.The supermarket is a 10 minute stroll from hotel and has absolutely everything. Overall we have all agreed that we will definitely be going back to El Greco Resort for the staff, location and cost.
