Short trip to Rostock, convenient overnight/no breakfast in the Rostock overnight. The property is located in a quiet residential area and is only a few minutes' walk from Rostocker Hbf and the Old Town. An older multi-storey house with 3 floors, a steep wooden staircase leads to the virtually furnished rooms on the Jewish floor. My booked DZ was located on the 3rd floor with other rooms and a large community kitchen, as well as a large community bathroom, all so clean. There was no frost, but you could make yourself at the expensive dining area, dishes, plates and other kitchen items were handmade (although you could also get a relatively small snack).

Cost-effective accommodation

A big, bright, clean room with a huge terrace, a construction site that the hotel can't do and won't last forever, located downtown, near the Warnow, right next to the pedestrian zone, very good restaurant.

Hotel in the city centre

This is a good place for students who are taking audition in Musikhochschule Rostock, everything are good, location and also you can cook there. The service is good even we are late at 23pm.

In total, the house has 3 floors with several apartments on each floor and several rooms in each apartment. I rented a large room in the attic for 3 days. The room included a large cupboard, 2 beds, 1 table & 1 sofa bed. The other 2 rooms on this level were similarly equipped, the equipment has been in decline for some years and could be partially renovated. In addition, there was a large bathroom and a large kitchen that were used in common, but this never led to restrictions or problems at any time.

Centrally located & quiet, suitable for a short stay

We booked a spacious 45 m2 quadruple room, but the owner did not respect our booking, gave our room to someone else and then relocated us to the smallest possible room, FOR THE SAME PRICE. We couldn't sleep at all and he so ruined our trip that I never want to go to Rostock again. Do not book there if you want a nice careless holiday, it was truly a horrible experience, there are many much nicer accommodations there, we were not treated correctly, and call for a total boycott of this place.

overbooking

The title says it all. Cleaning is optional, the beds have a blue mattress cover and no sheets. Tickets and battery covers. In the bathroom there's only one tiny towel on the head and obviously not white.

Weight

When I arrived, the owner welcomed me very kindly and gave me a standard double room, which was very large and very generously furnished, in bright colours, with a large cupboard, a very large screen, a table, two pieces, a bookshelf with books, and so on. The bathroom was located right next to the main hall (the bathroom, the kitchen, the kitchen, etc.) and the bathroom was in a good position. The rooms were all in the same way.

Very nice room, stayed 1 night.Warm greeting from the host. Speaks primarily german, but is talkative and clear about the necessary information.Booked via hotels.com, and we (3 pers.) got a apartment with 2 double rooms for ourselves. Maybe we got a very nice room that was accidently free, or the hotel is nice. Unknown. Overall good condition and very spacey, but not super luxurious. A bit of a mediterranean feel to it.We got a key to our own entrance.We found free parking.

After ringing a door bell and waiting for a man in his T shirt and PJ's on in middle of day, he escorted us to a basement room. Made no attempt to speak English.  No parking as advertised. Demanded cash after paid by credit card. Spoke to my travel companion who is German very rudely suggesting we not stay. We were baffled. He then changed his mind. I did not! We stayed 1 night rather than 4. Would have not stayed at all but unsure we could find other accommodations. I am an owner of two beach homes that we rent. I could never treat my guest in such a rude, unprofessional way, nor could I lie about services offered. One other note,  it is not conveniently located near the sea. Would not recommend to my dog much less a paying guest.

Mislead

I wrote them six weeks before visiting if they had a vacancy.  They wrote me saying yes and asking if I wanted to confirm my booking.  I wrote ten minutes later saying yes of course.  Then the day before I wrote back to confirm the booking as I always do and they said that I never confirmed it and it wasn't free.  I forwarded them the message that I had sent them showing that I actually had.

They never apologized or anything saying it was their fault or helping me to find another place in the area.  

Don't stay here.  There are several well-priced places nearby.  This place isn't worth the trouble.
