AZK Arbeitnehmer Zentrum Königswinter, Stiftung CSP e.V.

A colleague and I stayed here for two days and nights while attending a business meeting and training course with a local company. I can't accurately comment on the value as this was already paid for and I didn't see the bill. The room was very basic and a somewhat bland decoratively but clean and spacious with a simple desk with two chairs and wi-fi access. Perfectly fit for purpose for conference guests but probably not great if you were staying for a week or longer on holiday and you expected more comfort. I was a little concerned when I saw the single sofa type bed but it was surprisingly comfortable and I slept well both nights. There was a second sofa bed that wasn't made up for sleeping so the room was basically configured as a single with a sofa. If you were sharing with another person there'd be nowhere to sit apart from the two straight back chairs for the desk or on the beds. The staff were pleasant and those I spoke with on reception spoke good English. The hotel provided a buffet breakfast and lunch and although there was a limited choice it was all very good. I didn't eat there in the evening. The hotel is located close to the Rhine river and a fair way from the main town. We did walk back from town one evening but it was 2-3 miles along the banks of the Rhine. A nice walk - if you enjoy walking! I have rated the hotel as a conference venue as that seems to be its main function.
