We missed the opportunity to book something in the vicinity of the fair and were forced to look a little outside. A choice we will not regret! A friendly, welcoming and warm hearted family run hotel/restaurant that really introduce you to the West German culture and cuisine. Rooms are basic but if you're looking for a B&B with an evening 'pub' (Gasthaus), you can't go wrong. The village of Buchholz located in the picturesque countryside, it is nice to get a fresh of nature when on a business trip. 35-45 minute drive from the Cologne fairgrounds and free parking on premises the rack rate was very acceptable for area and offered service.
