Stayed here for one night. The taxi driver at the railway station had recommended this hotel. There had been an emergency on the train to Prague, which left me and a travel party from Malaysia stranded in the beautifful town of Cham, in the middle of the night, after the last train had left the station. Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful to everyone. The room was spacious and well-heated on this ice-cold February night. The breakfast buffet was well-appointed. I recommend this hotel also for larger groups and longer stays. Seems a great place to have a business conference for several days. Excursions into the Bavarian Mountains ... and even to the "Golden City" of Prague (only a ~2 hour train ride away, 8 daily connections on "Alex" train) ... are in easy reach. This hotel is a family business run by people who really care. So the recommendation made by Taxi Obermair of Cham, phone +49 9971 9696, is hereby confirmed.
