Nice house,friendly georgian family.
They have a 7 passenger vehicle Toyota and they can pick u up from Airport for about $50 for entire pick up.You can arrange a trip to visit famous places with this people.
Prices are good,And they can cook breakfast and dinner for you.
Check them out!

Stayed with Tamar and her husband for one night as a group of 4.

As hosts they are very friendly and helpful. Nice to know that you don't need to know only Georgian/Russian language as Tamar is speaking English on a quiet impressive level (for an older lady).

Service was good - we were offered dinner what we gladly accepted as we arrived later in the evening - fresh fish from a pond killed just for us was a delicious surprise. Now, I saw few people complain about the price of dinner... Well, ofcourse it adds to your budget but the price for a dinner was reasonable considering what we got - just ask first for the price if you are not sure if it fits your budget.

Rooms were normal - in our case both with a shower and toilet. It's a budget place so don't expect a Hilton style rooms with golden toilet seat but it's on a normal level.

All in all we agreed that our stay was perfect and we will stay at the same place again if we will visit Gori.

Good accommodation 

Tamar guest house

The hostel is really nice with new rooms currently under construction and a nice garden area to relax in. Tamari (the owner) is very friendly and helpful asking us about England and giving us great advice on transport. However as mentioned in other comments she is quite overbearing and will insist on you having her dinner which for 15 Lari each is lovely and includes some nice traditional dishes. She will insist you try her homemade wine (15 Lari per bottle) which had a very strong vinegar flavour and was not to my taste (perhaps a bad batch as others have said it's really nice). Also BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED despite booking websites suggesting it is and when we arrived we were told that the room we booked was not available and were made to pay extra for a bigger room as her family were staying. Aside from those points for the equivalent of £30 it was great value for a bed and dinner for the night last minute (or other hotel booking was cancelled). 

Nice hostel, be prepared to be sold to.

Hotels in Gori were booked so we were recommended to Tama's place. 
Nice house, beautiful garden, familiar atmosphere.
There are rooms with en-suite or shared bathrooms.
No heating though.
Price for the en-suite room is 50 Lari (with some negotiations).
We were offered dinner (dolma, tomatoes, bread and a bottle of home made wine) which we gladly accepted as it was late, but then found some extra 50 Lari on our bill. 
That's about double the price you pay at the restaurant. 
Sadly that's Georgian hospitality too.

Overall nice atmosphere but...

When wwe arrived the lady refused to divide the large bed or to let one of us to sleep in the single bed in the room. One window was broken and the loose glass still around. Bathroom unclean and leaking aall time.
Breakfast served iin a restricted vversion "due to low cost ok room". When we leaves, the lady refused breakfast at 7,15.
That lady too nosy and insisting to use her car, book rooms at her friend's, having dinner(one kinkhali and some rice with meatball at 15 lari)
We couldn't believe to some positive reviews...
