This is a great family run hotel. The young bloke that checked us in (Lasha) was super friendly. He made our stay in Batumi a pleasure. The room was big, very comfortable, central to all the sites and very reasonably priced. Underneath the hotel is a great restaurant with amazing Georgian dishes. When checking out we stated that we were off to Tbilisi via the train. Needless to say Lasha insisted he drop us off at the train station saving us $$$. He was a very informative helpful friendly guy. Upon our return to Batumi we will definitely be staying at the Hotel Albatros. Thanks again Lasha
