Séjours & Affaires Serris Val d'Europe Rive Gauche

This was our first time to Paris and we absolutely loved it. We booked ours flights and hotel with Easyjet which was so easy. We booked to stay at Sejours and Affaires Rive Gauche Serris. It was a 5 minute walk from Val D'europe Metro station and easy to access. Check in was very straight forward and I paid the city taxes as requested. We were given our room key along with a code to access the building after 7pm if needed. The room key also gave entry so we just used that. Our room was basic but spotless. There was 2 single beds, a table and 2 chairs, a fan, some shelving and a safe in the bedroom. The mini kitchen had a 2 ring hob, full fridge with top shelf freezer and a microwave. In the cupboards we found pots and pans, a kettle, plates/bowls and glasses. The bathroom had a toilet, shower, sink and mirror. Everything was very clean. The only issue we had was the smell coming from the shower and sink drain. I spoke to reception about this and they couldn't have been more apologetic. The cleaner was finished for the day however they assured us this would be looked at the next morning. I went to the local supermarket (we were going anyway) and bought some bleach which helped with the smell. It definitely reduced the smell but I think it was a drain issue rather than not being clean. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would absolutely stay there again. It was safe, accessible and in a great location. Staff were so helpful and friendly.
