Excellent hotel, exceeded my expectations...wonderful food Saturday night. An interesting mis en bouche with a local cheese veloute, Salmon and beetroot starter followed by steak and local vegetables. Peach melba disappointed in comparison to the other courses.. Breakfast was fine, quality rather than range.. so great kugelhopf (?) And you could boil your own eggs.. Great location for the vin d'alsace route. Only wished we'd chosen a second night with half board as on Sunday had to fend for ourselves ( OK gazpacho and roasted duck in Colmar.. but not up to these standards.) Beds must have been replaced since comments below as I'm a very fussy sleeper and had 2 good nights sleep. Decor is " traditional " but I'm on holiday...so nice to be somewhere different and authentic.
