Mille Saveurs

I've just stayed at La Marmite for three nights, and cannot praise this hotel highly enough. It is situated a short stroll away from the city centre. The room we stayed in was perfectly-furnished and well-sized, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower excellent; the room was also nice and quiet. We stayed half-board, had dinner at the hotel each night, and the cuisine was nothing short of first-class, with quality and presentation of the highest order. Throughout, the hotel is clean, tidy and immaculately maintained. The proprietors are a lovely couple and made us both extremely welcome; they know the area well (having been running the hotel for 36 years), and were so, so helpful in recommending places to visit; in fact, nothing was too much trouble for them. We parked across the road from the hotel, for free. All this, at the prices charged, we both thought represents superb value for money, and I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone.
