We stayed 1 night as travelling through the region. The setting is a magnificent old mansion with bucket of charms, set in a very quiet area in the countryside with amazing views of the rolling hills. There is nice park and great swimming pool that we couldn’t use unfortunately as too cold at the end of September, but it is easy to see that it will be a superb place in the summer. We were received by the owner. Our room was a « standard », located on the top floor. It is quite high up via a superb spiral staircase - be prepared to walk up, but the reward is a very comfortable room with a large bed and shower, with great views over the countryside. All very cosy and well designed, feeling very new. We had dinner in a nearby village as there is no restaurant in the Chateau. Breakfast was great and served on a communal table alongside the other 2 guests. Very good continental breakfast that set us well for the day. All in all, wholeheartedly recommend it - great friendly owners, great room and amazing setting. Will stay again if we have the opportunity!
