A FUIR! Hotele hoorible! Vétusté of those who enter the stairs The walls are holes so I think it starts well... And the rooms.... let's not talk about it... No decomposition, doubtful cleanliness, refrigerator dispose that doesn't even work. But the worst, it's the noise!!!! Not at the station level, but young people downstairs at the window talking until 4pm of the mat, I didn't manage to close my eyes when he left!!! So the rotten TV that doesn't catch anything at all and or there are no channels (M6,W9,...), the night is bad for a 69Euros fuck her!!!!

Get out of here!

Very well situated opposite the train station. Very quiet with a room overlooking the course and refurbished. Very good reception and very responsive boss. The refurbished room had no curtains yet and I had an occlusion very quickly. Very nice lunch.

Correct for the price and very well located

A few weeks ago I decided to visit a friend in Le Mans. As he was booked into a hotel not far from the railway station, I looked for a hotel in close proximity. There was an International event taking place that weekend, so all the hotels were booked bar one. I checked the reviews, including other hotel sites, it appeared to be average even though the majority were very old. So I booked a room.
The price of the room was 54€ with breakfast at 7 €
The hotel was managed I believe by a couple. They were very pleasant and helpful.
My room was a total surprise, it was grim. The floor was covered with what appeared to be very old lino. The wallpaper was drab and in bad condition, some of the edges were peeling off. In all fairness the bed linen and towels were fresh and clean. However when I went to sleep, I realised there was a bad smell coming from the bed. I checked and realised the smell was coming from the duvet. it is my opinion that the duvet should have been cleaned a very long time ago. I tried to sleep without the duvet over me and unfortunately as it got a bit cold in the night that was difficult. I hardly slept at all.
Breakfast consisted of cereal, if you wanted it, orange juice, coffee and a small basket of approx. one third of a baguette, 2 very tiny croissant and a tiny sweet bun with raisins. there were jams, butter and segments of pre-wrapped cheese if you wanted it. Ok, I do not eat very much for breakfast, but I thought even for a low price of 7€ there could have been at least more bread.
Maybe the hotel has fallen on hard times, but if serious refurbishment is not done to this establishment, it wont be around for very much longer as a new Ibis is opening next door.
I have given this hotel a rating of 2 mainly because of the pleasant and helpful nature of the owners, otherwise it would have been 1.

Not pleasant at all.

Recently refurbished but fine-tuned bathroom. Dark and small room... you have to go through a busy outdoor courtyard to get to breakfast (thankfully it wasn't raining) This aside very friendly staff and good advice the rooms are clean.

I was a little apprehensive because in front of the train station, on a boulevard so a lot of passage... the front of the hotel goes unnoticed because it's small. I hadn't found anything else on the Le Mans but finally I don't regret at all. We were very well received by a gentleman who advised us to park further away (three minutes walk because there is no private parking) and gave us a ticket for one free exit the next day. We had three rooms that were flawless, with bathroom and toilet inside. He didn't charge us for our children's breakfasts and offered us a small bottle of fresh water the next morning. Don't worry, if I have to rental a hotel in the sector one day, it will be at his house the next morning.

Very good hotel, very well located

It's not easy to find a hotel room, the Le Mans Classic weekend. We got to this hotel, ideally located in front of the train station and a tram stop. The weekend was overbooked so we took advantage of it to distract the traveler: the single room went from 45€ to 130€. Nothing to say about the cleanliness level for this old hotel, except a very narrow shower, as well as the sanitation.

I don't want anything better.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable but there was no door on the bathroom and there was no climate control, except a window. We were facing the courtyard which people were enjoying until late at night. Unfortunately because it was warm and we had the window open, our room became very smokey and the noise made it difficult to sleep. The hotel served its purpose but I do not think we would stay there again.

A deplorable state of rooms, a shower in a very dubious state... (joint to completely rebuild) Exorbitant service prices!

I stayed for one night before onward travel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was available early so that I could get an early train, it was also a generous amount.

Transit Stay at Hotel

Booked a room on line but the hotel did not honour it even though  they had confirmed the booking. Referred us to another hotel (Sportmans Hotel) which was terrible and tried to arrange to charge us more than that hotel's advertised rate. Arrogant and dismissive - do not trust this place.
