La Source En Barange

Stayed here for one night on our journey home from holiday in Italy. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we could not find any fault with this great b&b. The room was one of four on the ground floor looking onto the well kept garden and pond. Each room having a terrace with table, 2 chairs and a parasol. The terrace quite private from each other surrounded by high growing plants. The room was large with a comfy bed and a wonderful eclectic mix of furniture. A coffee machine with pods supplied. Bathroom had a wonderfully large sized shower with ample water flow. Now to breakfast. This was taken in the upstairs, a large table (billiard?) where all the visitors sat together. Each couple had their own croissants, bread, crepes, orange juice in jug, and a huge flask of coffee or water for tea. A beautifully arranged bowl of finely sliced fruit salad for each person. Delicious. Cheese, meat and yoghurt should you wish. All in all, I think this was the best place we have stayed in our 22 day journey this year. Would I recommend? But of course. Only problem for us, we had to take the car to eat that night as the only restaurant nearby was a gastronomique one which would have been too expensive for us, but is, apparently, amazingly good.
