Le Torcopel

Located in the middle of nowhere (so make sure you take a sat nav with you) this bed and breakfast was perfect for a great nights sleep. Really friendly owner, good up to date facilities and wifi that actually worked. Only down side was that in the bathroom they gave you those really cheap plastic cups rather than a decent glass to use. Almost as if they thought you would steal a proper glass. Breakfast was basic, tea/coffee, pain au chocolat and the famous baguette but all was nice and fresh. One big table for breakfast which we shared with two other couples and all together a pleasing experience. Would definitely return if in the area. We had eaten in Caen before we arrived and would recommend doing same as there is nothing near the hotel. Cabourg seems to be the nearest town and there are lots of choices there.
