Very friendly owners, with a small but very nice hotel, attentive to every detail. Very clean. Desiring to help and make the stay very pleasant. Patrick took us on an excursion to St. Emilion and organized a perfect visit for us!

My comment was directed to the owner's forms as we made several reservations in Bordeaux for a trip there for the month of June, if this establishment was chosen along with others and then we canceled those that we finally found not to be of interest in comparison.Because of this, the owner addressed the person who made the reservation in a derogatory and derogatory way, accusing him of wasting time (booking for within 5 months) and misusing the booking platform (when the same, as a cancellation option allows you to signal that you have found something better. (There are also comments directing no in the best possible way to one client or another hosted for the price of breakfast)

We booked a room from Booking.com's website five months in advance and later found a better option at another different hotel, so we decided to cancel this reservation. The owner of the house sent us a message with very bad manners and despotism (something he does to all his guests), then I attached the captures to see how the owner is doing. I can't rate this review with 0 stars, but you won't miss me. I would never visit this place again, because with so little formality, education, and respect, I would never go there. Like all of these things, we'll never lose out, because to book the property we'll all have a good luck attitude, because we'll book a stay in any time of the day.

The shameful behavior of the owner, the despot, the rude, the childish...

Then, I want to expose my case or experience with that Villa as it is shameful... And I speak of shame for not qualifying with adjectives worse than the one with better conditions or price. Well, due to a thorough and thoughtful search, we decided that this accommodation was not the best for us as we found one with better conditions and price. He is simply ashamed of himself.

The bathroom is large with double vanity, large shower, toiletries etc.
 
Our host, Bruno, was very helpful and makes a great breakfast. Breads, eggs, ham, cheeses fruit, home-made yoghurts, juices and Tea and coffee.

Location wise La Villa Desvaux de Marigny is a 15 – 20-minute walk to Plaza Gambetta and the beautiful city of Bordeaux. There is on street parking. Speak to Bruno re accessing the Villa's reduced parking costs - 10 euro a day (6 days a week)

There are buses into town and to the Bordeaux main station, St Jean, nearby (fares are Euro 1.70 each way). From St Jean you can get trains to the beaches or winery regions around Bordeaux.

This guest house is first class accommodation close to Bordeaux and the property manager is very helpful and generous with his time.

Spacious Room,, delicious breakfast and great location

As others have said, Patrick and Bruno are wonderful hosts. The decor is just the right mix of interesting 'ancien' and modern. 
Well served by the local bus system into town and the Airport (Bus No1). 
So good we stayed there twice during our recent tour of the region.

Wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux

I was very cordially received, I had booked a suite, in which I was asked not to bring food....on seeing the magnificent white cream carpet very thick you can easily understand why, especially when you see how the travelers can no longer stand...(I travel for business all over France) The bed first, and yes because we come to a hotel/house dt want to sleep no?? of very comfortable quality, as well as the pillows. Then the beautiful, spacious bathroom. I refused breakfast because I leave too much (before 7h). The doors being less than the chronic isolation is absent. For my part I stayed at a hotel 2 days at a time so I didn't want to sleep no? So I'm looking for a nice hotel, but I can't wait to get out of the hotel, and if you can still find a good hotel, I'll give you a very good idea, and if you want to stay in the hotel, I'll give you a nice room and a nice hotel, and if you want to come out with me, I'll give you a nice room and a nice room.

A remarkable stay of 2x3 days

It is not luxurious but a wonderful homely atmosphere and judged by "B&B" criteria deserves 5 stars.
The patrons could not have been more helpful; Bruno cooked beautifully presented mean breakfasts and a very reasonable supper. Patrick was a mine of information both local, national and international (originally from Mauritius); with the sitting room was crammed with souvenirs from his extensive travels.
The walk to the centre was 10-15 mins
If one goes with the right expectations ("charming" "old fashioned") they will be met but not everyones' cup of tea

We stayed 4 nights in this wonderful b&b. The furnishings are fantastic. Our room was delicious with a view of the street, very bright with these large and characteristic windows. The bathroom is very spacious, modernised, with all the necessary amenities, bright with a large window. Breakfast is prepared on time, of high quality, the managers are very kind and have recommended excellent places for dinner. The location is convenient because with a nice walk through a beautiful square (where there is our favorite church) you can quickly reach the historic center.

A wonderful place to stay.

It was discovered by chance on booking, and the chance has done very well. A beautiful house in Bordeaux, with a very beautiful decoration. We spent two nights, neighborhood and very quiet house. A discreet but thoughtful host and good advice. Breakfast in a like home atmosphere and with fresh and quality products.
