We were in the first week of March after a Nile cruise in the Mövenpick. We had AI and a great cluster of 6 rooms with a wonderful sea view. At first glance a great facility, if you look a little closer, then you can complain a lot. The lunch at the EL Sayadin beach restaurant was really good but the furniture leaves you wanting. So we ended up with some restaurants. The Thai restaurant was very discouraged, you could make it more beautiful. Also the fish restaurant where the sea view was damaged for a lot. Nice facility with slight weaknesses

The hotel has a spacious and extensive hotel complex in and around the lagoons. Rooms suitable with decent beds. Service very friendly and helpful. Various restaurants, you will always be satisfied! We book all in  but with better food and drinks always with a fee! Unfortunately, the Mövenpick ice cream is also available here at the Mövenpick Hotel only with a fee. Standard does not match a 5-star hotel.

Super friendly, helpful, guiding and professional staff.
Very nice and large rooms with breathtaking views.
Beautiful surroundings, great pool areas and beaches.
The food was delicious and well prepared with good variety either from the buffet or different options of restaurants.
Great opportunity for doing sporting activities with either kitesurfing, paddle boarding or just going for a run/walk in the garden-like surrounding.
Easy access to Downtown or the Marina either by Tuk-Tuk or Taxi, with a great mix of restaurants, bars, coffee shops or shopping.
Can't wait to return

Better than expected

Hotel very well maintained and very clean, with always kind and pleasant staff, especially in the restaurant where Michel and all his staff do not know what to do to please. The room maintenance is impeccable. The food is varied and abundant. The majority of the customers are German and English, very little French. For the tranquility of the rooms block 7 is perfect but a little far from the main square and restaurants. Our week was very salesy but it is the weather. Hotel to recommend

Very nice hotel.

The hotel is very quiet, the guests are mostly Germans, the children are very few, so the animation is very small, although there is a children's room and a children's menu in the restaurant. Close to the center of El Guna, there are places to walk and things to see. We will definitely return to El Guna again

Can’t fault this hotel , returned on 11/3/19 after a lovely 10 night winter break The hotel is set in a beautiful surroundings. We went on Bed and breakfast board but did try all the reestaurants in the hotel for either lunch or dinner and couldn’t fault the quality or value for money . All staff in the hotel couldn’t do enough for us and were so pleasant and friendly ,  Tok  tocs (only £1 a trip )readily  available at the hotel or courtesy bus  to take us to Elgouna marina or downtown where there are a vast choice of bars and restaurants . We will definitely be visiting here again and hopefully very soon , A totally chilling location for us . Thank you .

Winter holiday in paradise

Where should I start? The Hotel is great and El Gouna is a beautiful place. Animation Megafun team was great, especially miss Anastasia - always happy and smiling, great to talk to and very friendly :)
The food is good, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Definately can recommend!

Sunny lagoon

In El Gouna, the absolute top location. Beautifully decorated building style (single residential units) in a beautiful and well-kept garden complex. However, the tooth of time has left heavy traces. The dining room has a station atmosphere with Uralt furniture. The Italian-style pub has the charm of a waiting room. Every bar in Thailand has more atmosphere than the Thai one in the hotel. The fish restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area with sea views. But inside a disaster. The Piazza with outdoor lobbies and adjacent small shops, if staffed, 1 star level. Everything is broken!! After breakfast the tasting area at all.

You're a top model, but you're not getting a card today!

As we were in this hotel for the second time in March and were very satisfied again. The facilities are fantastic and very well maintained. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly from the waiter to the gardener. You can even speak German well. English is no problem. The topics included in the all-inclusive are also very good. The lunch at the El Sayadin restaurant on the beach is also inclusive - very good!!! If there are any improvement points, then we have missed out on a little more of the breakfast menu (there was only beef and chicken sausage). Salami or ham would be desirable. The swimming pools are also in the evening and still have tasty tastings there every evening (we could have enjoyed the lagoon). We could definitely come to the top of the bar and enjoy the bar. We could have visited the lagoon for a while.
