This is a once in a lifetime experience. You will be greeted by Angel at checkin and I promise you he lives up to his name. There is a level of hospitality i experienced here that Ive never had! Im very grateful for the time and effort by everyone here

From the time we arrived until the day we left,  we experienced the thrill of adventure and the Majesty of the island.  Beautiful islands,  lush mountains and a people rich with culture.  Everyone at the tree house went out of their way to serve us and create a family environment.  We especially loved how the staff would sit with us and eat with us. We especially appreciated Alex who went out of his way to set up a fishing trip and make popcorn with us the last night.  Also, Jenny was like a breath of sunshine every time we saw her.  You could tell she really loved her work and was more like a sister than a staff member.  Our experience would not have been the same without her.  We also fell in love with Teacher.  He was always working and doing everything he could to serve the guests.  One minute he would be mopping, the next clearing plates and then the next helping people to their rooms. Just always quietly serving. Loved Ida and Nancy who went out of their way to make meals exceptional and Ida cooked our fish that we caught. It was the best fish I have ever eaten. Lots more people we loved although we can't remember everyone's names. 

We definitely recommend the Treehouse village to anyone looking for a remote get-away adventure. It's a unique experience that you'll never forget or find anywhere else.

This was an adventure! Loved waking up every morning to beautiful jungle views!  The staff were very friendly and helpful. Freddy and Angel were especially helpful and made us feel right at home. 

This place has one of the best zip lines I have every been on. The beach is just a short bike ride away. You didn't need any water shoes on the beach, it was just pure sand. No seaweed, rocks, pebbles, etc. 

I plan on going back and taking the rest of my family with me.

Staying at the Dominican Tree House Village was a one of a kind experience in an absolutely beautiful jungle setting. I have never experienced anything this unique and authentic with any other vacation. The staff was incredible. Alex greeted us with smiles and frozen Piña Coladas upon arrival and spent a lot of time getting to know each of us throughout our stay and shared so much about the community and Dominican life. He made a huge impact on everyone. Angel and Alex went out of their way to create an unforgettable birthday party for my mom. Make sure to ask Angel for a flaming Tiki Tiki drink. Freddie made sure everyone was enjoying their stay and checked in several times throughout our visit. JJ was a great bartender and fun part of the crew. The women in the kitchen were so accommodating to special dietary requests and made us feel at home. I loved the open-air kitchen and the ability to watch the cooks prepare the meals. They worked so hard making homemade meals and fresh baked bread and we loved being able to watch the process and see all the fresh fruits and vegetables on display. We also really enjoyed the three lunch restaurant options (Emma’s, Don Piron and El Valle Beach) and enjoyed exploring El Valle on the electric scooters. We were spoiled with daily massages that were convenient to fit into our schedule and very affordable. The zip-line experience was a big highlight and the crew that ran it was amazing. I loved finding frogs and snails in the bathroom and listening to the sounds of the jungle. We enjoyed being able to open the curtains in our room, relax in the swings and soak in the atmosphere. You really are immersed in jungle life. Everything was wonderful! I just wish we had another day or two to explore more of the area. Can’t wait to go back! 

We just got home from our 4 day/3 night getaway to the Dominican Treehouse Village and it was everything we hoped for and more! Alex, JJ, and Angel were great at the bar! Making great drinks, providing entertainment, and having conversation with everyone. The ladies cooked amazingly each and every night. Everyone who helped out was great too! Teacher, Boom Boom, and Freddy to just name a few! Be prepared mentally to immerse yourself in the lifestyle though. There is no Wi-Fi on site there are hot showers but located away from your room. We came out here looking for the perfect combination of what paradise looks like for me and my partner. We had the perfect blend of mountains, rainforest & beach experience we were looking for. We were received at the airport and had no issues finding our driver (Abdel). He chatted with us about his country and educated us in the agriculture in DR all the way to the Village. He was very helpful in helping us find a currency exchange spot and made a stop with us to have some food. Once we arrived at the village, we were greeted by a group of kids and adults(carlos loui in charge of the bicycles- and an  adult volunteer which helped with our bags) We then met the general manager(freddy) 2 of the 4  bar tenders(jayjay, alex) which greeted us delicious drinks'  were shown the debriefing video about the village and all the amenities. the real adventure started when we guided up to our room by one of the employees (teacher) he also took care of taking our bags up to our room. We had the pleasure of staying in the highest room available (VIP suite#22) even though the walk can be tough and tiring, the steps are not the easiest to get up or down as they can get slippery and it is steep. If you do decide to take upon this adventure know that what awaits is AMAZING!! the views from the room as truly breath taking as you have a view of the entire village and mountains and rainforest that it is part of. The room is very spacious, with the king bed in the middle giving you the best 360 view, as there is only curtains that surround the room "windows", the toilet area is very spacious considering you're in a tree house. the rooms are cleaned daily and provided with fresh towels unless otherwise instructed. SHOWER!SHOWER!SHOWER! HOT SHOWER! if you are not comfortable with taking a shower outside this is not the room for you( you do have the option of using the community showers which are downstairs in the communal are, very clean and spacious  but the water is cold).The shower was our favorite area as it takes you even higher up the mountain, you have several steps to get there, then are surrounded by jungle, which provides privacy, the hot water takes a couple seconds to warm up but once it does, it is HOT, the cold water is not extremely cold. Remember you are in the jungle and in the mountains, expect the unexpected when it comes to weather conditions, insects, reptiles, SNAILS!! at night the snails comes out so please bring headlamps are stepping on them is not the best feeling ever, bring shoes that have grip. it rains on a daily basis, at random times, usually the rain showers don't last long but it does happen. the grounds of the village are gorgeous, you are 100% submerged in the jungle, every corner is an awe moment from walking on the stones in the pond, to going over the suspended bridge. The Zen pavilion was enormous and really a great addition to the grounds, it is quiet except the calls of nature which really let you be present. the  community dinner/ open kitchen was a really nice touch as we were able to see the kitchen staff(nancy,aide,magdalena) bring together amazing dishes every day for every meal, it was home style cooking with all local products, fresh fruit and juices, they even offered hot cocoa which is locally sourced and made(luis) really something magical so make sure you try it and buy some, as he sells blocks. the MASSAGES are given onsite for only 10$ p/p (izaura,joan)makes the village all around the best getaway and relaxation destination, if you choose to do any excursions it will be an extra pleasure as the village in its own provides everything needed for great time to enjoy and connect with nature and new experiences and people. This experience was truly one of a kind and something that I will always remember(yes we will be going back) the village, the grounds and the jungle were amazing and very in awe at the views but this entire experience would not be anywhere near the same if it was not for every single employee and volunteer who go above and beyond to make you're experience amazing and unforgettable, it would not be the same without them. lunch is not provided at the village but they do provided vouchers for restaurants outside the village- emmas restaurants is right before you leave the village which is great. Don piron is a short bike riding down towards the beach, amazing food provided by 2 amazing women. 

PS- bring cash to give as tips to volunteers and staff. as they do really deserve it!

This stay was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Being immersed in nature 24/7 was really special. Meals were always delicious and prepped at the planned times as well as many options for food restrictions/allergies. Alex and Freddy were extremely attentive and made any request happen. Freddy led the bachata and salsa nights which was a ton of fun! I felt safe the entire time of my stay. Definitely recommend for an alternative vacation experience.

I am just getting back from a yoga retreat that was held at the treehouses and had such a great time. The staff and accommodations were just wonderful! Also the food was amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to
disconnect from their busy lives. From our arrival to our
departure the staff was amazing and made us feel like family; Angel was an amazing host, Leo and the kitchen staff made us something delicious every time to meet our vegan diet, Alex was an amazing bartender, Boom Boom Jajaja helped us with the gifts and entertained us with magic tricks, Matias took us around and gave us yoga lessons, Mikey was a great sport and everyone one else was very nice. 

The place itself was very nicely maintained and full of nature. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who aren’t ok with the outdoors. 

Keep up the good work and we’ll be back with more friends.

Our second experience exceeded our first time. Freddy, the manager, checked in with me daily. The food was so good, fresh, and healthy. The staff, Angel, Alex, and Stanley were exceptional in hospitality! The jungle is lush and more than beautiful, it's inspiring and such a gift to be in such a beautiful space. We had the opportunity to connect, relax, step out of our comfort zone on excursions, and have a ton of fun in the evenings together dancing, playing games, and enjoying people from all over the world! We are already planning out May of 2023 yoga retreat!

Grounding Experience

Escape to Paradise!

I visited the Dominican Tree House Village at the end of August for a yoga teacher training. I was immediately overwhelmed with the beauty of this place. So many beautiful flowers and plants. I was fortunate enough to share a bunk bed with another yogi and it heightened my experience late at night. There are warm showers at the bottom of the dining deck which made my heart smile every night. I had a little trouble with my bedding the first couple of nights. I notified Alex at the front desk and arrived after lunch to a room makeover. My floors were mopped and swept, my bedding was changed, and I got a nice cozy blanket. It was the best slept I had all week. Additionally, anything I needed within the dinning deck Tichie (Jose Elie) did not hesitate to provide, I also got free Spanish lessons form him and the crew. Thank you Dominican Tree House, I will be back! I also can't forget Freddy's amazing Bachata lessons :)

very good food home made and drinks . the small evening activities ( 30 minutes dancing course with Freddy is cute, funny and Unobtrusive) bonfire, too and every thing so relaxing there. We will be back with the whole family again
