Great small hotel. Clean and perfect location. Will book again for next short visit.

I want to make sure to mention how clean the hotel was. No dust anywhere, very clean and taken cafe of. The breakfast is good. Bare in mind some rooms are shared bathroom, which you share with the entire hallway. There are towels in the bathrooms, so don't panic if you don't see them in the room. But make sure you get towels if you can find someone at the reception. 

Very clean room, good breakfast 

You can't stay closer to the center than this. The hotel is old and small, but well maintained and cozy. We have stayed here twice. The first time in the old house (the room was small and not good, but very clean) and the second time in an extension behind (this was significantly better and bigger with the patio). The breakfast was nothing special, but perfectly ok - with its own freshly baked bread, various good toppings, boiled eggs, yogurt and various drinks. The hotel has its own small parking, but it is very narrow and not recommended. Instead, park somewhere nearby - there are free spots here and there and not far to walk. There are several restaurants around - feel free to ask the hotel for advice.

A nice little hotel right in the center

Spent one night on my way from Copenhagen to Aarhus. Arriving after the reception was closed I received an sms with instructions on how to obtain my room key from the outside safe. It worked well and I arrived in a clean room with good standard and a comfortable bed. Next morning I enjoyed breakfast in the small cafe downstairs. An enjoyable stay in a quite area of Køge. 

Convenient and cozy

Situated at the end of the main square close to the Tourist Office and facing Café Vivaldi. Great location less than ten minutes walk from the railway station. Very pretty old town and a small market is held in the square on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean and some rooms have en suite bathrooms (mine did) with a nice view towards the square. Adequate healthy breakfast served on the ground floor. For a town the size of Koege, room rates are high, but that seems to apply throughout Denmark. My visit was just for one night.

Great location and friendly staff

A cosy hotel in prime location and a first choice when not travelling with a car. Clean and large rooms, great sleep quality and a very nice breakfast in the cafe. Super service throughout our stay. I loved it!

Really nice, but poor parking

Although my booking was not yet on the PC, the lady at the reception mastered it solemnly, I had the loft room. Very charming. The hotel is perfect for a short walk through the town. Please come back.

We were all three in this pleasant hotel and felt very comfortable (other reviews here on TripAdvisor are partly based on conditions from the past, among the owners at the time. Not to be confused with the current state). Central location at the market square, our rooms (No. 1 and 2 on the 1st floor) freshly renovated and flawless with a spacious shower, a very nice café on the ground floor for breakfast (and for the rest of the day until 4pm also open to the general public as a café). Small restrictions: no elevator in this historic house and a rather steep staircase to the first floor - for old people there is a single problem.

We recommend the Central Hotellet almost without restriction

Centralhotellet is a small, family owned business.  I have stayed here regularly over the last couple of years.  Attached to a bakerie, the hotel offers clean, modern, comfortable rooms.  The staff are always friendly & helpful and speak good English.  Closes early (around 17.00), but they will text/email instructions on using the key box.  Centrally located in the small market town of Krøge.

Very Good

The hotel is located in the centre of the beautiful town of Koge. The room is flat in the backyard with a view of parked cars or garbage cans. The bathroom is very small. The toilet did not work. Breakfast was fine. We stayed for one night. It would not have been nice. Denmark is expensive, but here the price/performance is not quite right.
