Fantastic for families! My kids have a blast and we enjoy the cozy vibe . Highly recommended !  The indoor playground is great and offers many activities eg painting t shirts, making candy, etc they also have bowling and a nice swimming pool area. The buffets are also nice and their take away pizza in the deli...oh my! Yummy! 

Fantastic holiday center with all the facilities a family could want. Great staff and up to date equipment in the various common facilities.

The water park is being upgraded so this would be super next year.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed the riding center. The staff there are very professional and the horses are a joy to ride in the Woods and on the Beach.

Romulus has a host of fantastic treatments and the Sauna Gus is a must when you’re there.

We really enjoy holidays at Skallerup Klit. Everything is easy and you can do as much or as little as you like. Our son with asd is v happy here because it's not too big and not so many people. He can do some things independently here. Our daughter LOVES the Creative Workshop and the indoor play. The takeaway is good as is the supermarket (normal prices, pretty good range of food).

We stayed 3 days at Skallerup Klit, and were already the first day sure we sould come back later. So many different activities for children and easy access to food (make your own in your kitchen, access to grocery store, take-away, café, restaurants, possible to buy small food options like "frikadelle" etc, gluten free options). We loved it!

We visit Skallerup Klit 2-3 times a year. We love to get away from a busy everyday life and relax: fresh air, sea nearby, cosy water park and playgrounds, lots of activities for both kids and adults. We have to kids (6 and 13), who love to make sweets every time, we come to the sea-side resort. Both my husband and I use their sauna (saunagus) and Romulus - it's really something special.

A really beautiful resort with high quality at a reasonable price. A nice swimming pool. Indoor playground much sport facilities and other holiday fun. A good supermarket. And.... those beautiful sunsets! Amazing place to be. 

The last two years we have spent a week in November in their F12 spa cottages. They are really great and comes with a lot of amenities for families with small kids as well. 

The whole resort is great and offers activities for all ages. Besides the nature is gorgeous in that part of Denmark. We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Great cottage and comfortable beds. Plenty of things to do at the resort and a great nearby farm. A bit expensive, but well worth the money. Easy to order good food, and the waterpark/playarea and other activities are included. Very Pleasant staff.

Third time at the resort, and still same review: Perfect for families with kids. Service good, clean cabin, lots of activities to choose from and very well accommodated for kids to play and have fun. This year I tried the Seafront and Pool Gus' (Morning Sauna by sea, and mid-day at pool) - enjoyed them both. Recommendable place to spend vacation. Only minus; A bit had mattresses for the adults.

Great place for a family with small children!

Perfect for families

Skallerup Klit was established as early as the 1930s. It has developed to be a perfect place for families with children at all ages.

The resort is placed right next to a very long nice beach, and with large outdoor areas for free play. Also many options for organized outdoor play, and several playgrounds, horseback riding, minigolf and more.

If the weather doesn't invite for outdoor activities, there are several indoor activities you can participate in.

BUT, the wind, oh the constant wind is a challenge.Often so strong that its too uncomfortable for beach activities, and lift gets rather cold, even in the middle of the summer.

But then again, the wind has its positive sides.There are no mosquitoes, and very few other insects. It doesn't get too warm, and the nighs are often chilled. I like that. Perfect for kiting.

The cabins are practical, clean and quite modern. But the A4 cabins, that are ment for a family of 4, are a bit too small. Bathroom is tiny, and the shower is about 40x60 cm, with clingy shower curtain. Nice OK kitchen. Living room is just too small, and the furnitures was very uncomfortable. It would be so much better if the cabins was built just a bit bigger.

So incredibly organized and perfect for families with children, but...

Spent a long weekend (Friday-Monday) in E4 apartment.
Check-in was super-fast (envelope with keys, driving assistance and information already prepared). 
Clean and modern apartment with two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchen (with separate TV), living room (second TV), free WiFi, two verandas, own parking lot, water-boiler, coffeemaker, and all other stuff needed for a nice stay. 
Close walk to the "camp-shop" with good selection of food, drinks and fresh bakery. Lots of activities (badminton, playground, bowling, in-door water-park, SPA, etc).
Good restaurand, fast-food and take-away (we tried it all!).
Short walk to the beach.
