Apartmány Reve

Pick up the keys and prepay in cash, no credit cards, at a boutique next to the entrance; a CSOB automat is right there for those cashless travelers. Excellent location in Masaryk Square. Room was very nicely modernized with quality materials, comfortable bed, good pillows, very cute wardrobes and etc. Our room was at the back, overlooking a small courtyard and very quiet at night for good sleeping. Breakfast across the Square at Bily Koniček was good, but many other places were available. The wifi needs a major improvement to have any use, so we gave up on that. Room could benefit from a couple of comfortable chairs, and we were surprised not to find any shower gel in the otherwise nice bathroom. Parking was a bit of a challenge, requiring a native Czech speaker to acquire a slot. The recommended parking is about 300 meters down from the Square on the left side of the road. One has to call a man; number listed on a small notice to the left of the entrance. Price was stated to be 80 Kc per day, but he charged 100 Kc; he claimed never to have heard of our Apartmany Reve or its proprietor. But the car was still there and intact in the morning. The Apartmany Reve’s Proprietor was extremely polite and helpful over the phone.
