Hotel Krasna Vyhlidka

I have found this hotel while looking for some family friendly badget hotel for a weekend in the Sumava Mountains in South-Western Bohemia. It has a great location, just next to the skiing slopes in Javornik village. It is more like a mountain challet so do not expect luxury, but the service, kindliness of the staff and location will make up for this as well as the price/value ratio. We arrived as a family with 2 small children late on Friday evening. We were pleasantly welcomed and served a very delicious dinner of local Czech cuisine meals. We were the only guests at the hotel for that night, which felt somehow odd at first, but the peacefulness of having breakfast of fresh bakeries, homecooked eggs (any style) was just great! The rooms are simple, but clean and functionable with towels and bathroom ammenities provided. The village itself is also very peaceful and quiet and even with skiers coming later that Saturday morning for an easy down-hill ski ride did not seem overcrowded as other resorts are. The surroundings and the nature of the place must be appealing also for summer bikeriding or easy hiking. I simply loved the place and will definitely come back to this hotel.
