Just returned from a 3 night stay in this charming hotel situated next door to Olomouc Cathedral. Check in instructions were simple to follow and we received the key code to the hotel entrance on the morning of our stay together with the code for the keybox once inside containing our key for Room 6. The hotel only has 6 rooms and our room on the top floor had a big bathroom with separate shower, small kitchenette and a big bedroom with nice views over the city. The furniture and fittings aren't the most modern but add to the charm of the building and everything worked perfectly well. We went for breakfast on the first morning and were greeted by a pleasant young lady who confirmed our booking details, checked our passports and printed our invoice. Breakfast itself was simple but very enjoyable with a choice or cereals, breads, pastries, cheese, ham, fruits and juices plus tea or coffee. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the tram stop serving the main train station and the city centre and is a hidden gem in this lovely city. The centre itself is a 10 minute walk and it took us 15 minutes to walk there from the main train station with a wheeled case. Departure was as easy as check in as we just had to leave our key with the receptionist on the way out. Highly recommended if you want a small hotel with friendly service and easy access to public transport. The hotel does not have a lift which is likely to be restrictive to guests with mobility issues.
