DOuble room small, euqiped by furniture from eighties, except double-bed, which was fine. Located on quied place surrounded by medows and forests.
Serving excelent dinners of traditional Czech pub meals (we had pork, sauerkraut and dumplings, pasta with red sauce and turkey, gulash. All together with very good soup, Perfect after all day track in the Jizera mountains.

Old-fashioned, but good

We spent 4 nights at this hotel about 2 weeks ago and we enjoyed our short holiday. Before reading the previous two very negative review, please keep in mind that this is a very cheap hotel, we booked it through one of these discount servers and we paid 250 czk per person per night for half board!! For this money we got a decent (not fancy) ensuit room with decent bathroom. The room was clean. The only disadvantage was the heavy duvet provided, too heavy for me. Internet connection was sometimes very bad, but it was working in our room. Breakfasts were fine except for the coffee. there was rye bread and whitebread, ham, two types of salami, vegetables (tomato, cucumber and peppers) two types of hard cheese and soft cheese spread triangles, butter, yogurt, cornflakes or similar, tea, milk. no eggs. all nice and fresh.
dinner was a choice of two dishes, on arrival dinner there is no choice, we got fish and mashed potatos, next days we had shnitzels, beef and rice, mince with mashed potatos...all fresh and tasty. so, in my opinion, it was a typical two star hotel, the staff was nice and very nice to our son who got food for free from them every evening.
